Prologue:
"Castor, places now." Garnett Deauville whispered to her FBI earpiece. She speed-typed on her computer, stare fixed on the monitor. She viewed the CCTV footage of Prime Theatre's lobby, zooming every corner, trying to spot the 'culprit'. "Nothing here." She said. "Red?" She whispered again to the earpiece. "Are you still there, your places, are you at your places?"
[Yes and yes.] Red Castor replied to her own earpiece while pulling out a sniper off a sack. [I'm checking Ade. Hey cousin, anything there?]
Garnett replaced the footage with the view of the V.I.P. section. She zoomed on the center of the third row. A man in a tuxedo waved at the camera.
[Show's about to start.] Aden Saffron said to his earpiece.
Garnett Deauville smiled knowing her best apprentices are about to achieve their first victory on an assignment. Her smile evaporated and she exited the footage. She tapped a few codes and instantly, a view of a street CCTV footage appeared on the monitor. A black Hummer passed the street. She paused just before the vehicle disappear. Then, she noted the Hummer's plate number on a notepad. She changed the view again. It wasn't an ordinary street footage anymore, it's a helicopter footage focused on Prime theatre and its surrounding areas.
"Good job, Daryl." She said smiling. She imagined her son being awarded with his first medal by the Verdonna Empire's king.
On the other hand, Daryl Deauville sat without effort on the helicopter legs hanging in space, camera in place.
[Sure thing, mom.]
"Listen carefully." Garnett said. "Enemies are now at Wall Street, west of Phoenix Trade Corporation, northeast of Prime theatre; black Hummer, plate ASQ 1321."
Garnett gazed on the monitor again and changed the view to Prime theatre's main entrance. Like any other movie premiers, a red carpet was laid for the actors. A Cadillac parked in front of the carpet and the crowd went crazy as hell. A beautiful young lady in a baby blue chiffon dress wearing a tiara was guided out of the Cadillac by a handsome man in a grey tuxedo. They both posed for a while and crossed the carpet arm in arm.
"She's out." Garnett called. "Red, Aden, positions!"
The two agents waited on their positions.
A few minutes passed, no action took place.
"Where's the Hummer?" Garnett asked to herself confused. She zoomed in back to Wall Street's footage. She saw the Hummer parked unaided. "Huh?"
She shifted to the theatre's halls—
BOOM!
__________
Cassie's POV
"Where is mom?!" I said rushing to the emergency room. I tugged the hem of my dress and searched every corner until I found her. I gasped at the sight of her.
She's covered in blood, bruises on her face made her unrecognizable, a large wound slashed across her abdomen.
I dashed beside her and held her hand, begging her to live. "Mom," I called.
She slowly opened her eyes and looked at me. She smiled, gripping my hand tighter. "Cassiopeia, I'm very proud of you."
I felt her grip loosen but I just held it closer to me. "Mom?"
There's no answer.
I cried helplessly while holding her hand.

Action"I'll always hate you." Cassie hissed. "No you can't." Aden replied coolly. "I saved your life." He walked slowly towards me. "And besides... ...You felt otherwise. You said it yourself."
