Shadows beneath the Poems

Pain

The one that we hate the most

But should be the one that we love the most

Because it shows us hope

Because it shows us how to fight for our own

It shows us how to be independent

And also because without it we will not gain

Without it we will be weak

And without pain all we know about is just abide to others

But the question is

Is that "others" is always there for you whenever you needed them

Whenever you felt the pain physically and mentally

Whenever you feel like a phantom to them

But pain....

Is always there for you to say that

Do not give up

Do not lose hope

You're not a threat

You're not a slut

And that you are not...

A phantom

But most importantly...

It tells you that....

You're still alive.
