Chapter 2: What now?

I stood up from my bed and went to the kitchen to drink a glass of water.

I look around and sighed 'Life... Lonely life.' I thought. I hope there's a person who'll love me the way I am. Just like my mom.

I love my mom. I'll not let anyone hurt her. She's special to me.

"Baby, please take this..." my mom handed me a necklace with a half heart that has a word 'Si'. What's with the 'Si'?

"Mom, what's this?"

"That's your father's... He gave it to me the day after he abandoned us... And it's yours already. Please keep it for me." She explained.

"Of course mom. I will." I said and hugged her.

"Oh I forgot to tell you. You shall always have a courage and be kind, ok?" She kissed me in the cheeks.

"Mom what are you talking about? You're making me nervous that it's like you'll gonna die tomorrow?" I joked. Actually I was really nervous of what she said it's like she'll die tomorrow. The heck! No please.

"We don't know, sweetheart." She replied.

"Mom, please don't say things like that."

"As you wish, baby. I love you so much."

"Love you more, mom" I winked she laughed.

That was the time before the most important person of my life died. My life is a hell!

I go back to my bedroom and close my eyes and try to sleep. After a few seconds I heard a noise coming from the living room. What was that?

I go to the living room while holding a broom. Yeah, I know I'm kind of weird but it was just for protection. I saw a guy's figure. 'Who is this fxcking son of a bxtch?' I questioned myself. He was looking at my window.

Before he could see me I already hit him with the broom on his arm. He turn around at me.

"What the fxck?!" he shouted. Wow. I mean woah.

He is quite handsome. He has a blonde hair, blueish eyes, and his jawline is perfect. 'What the heck, Hailee?!' I scolded myself. Okay, I'll admit it his lips are kissable.

Wtf! Oh my Gosh! I recognized this guy! He's Zachary Cole Sangster. He's the most bad boy in our school.

"Why are you hitting me, nerdy?!" he shouted again.

"What are you doing here, Mr. Sangster?!" I shouted like an angry lion. 'Nerdy?' Wow. He called me nerdy at my own house? Really? How pathetic!

"You better go out of my house before I'll kill you!" I shouted at him. He chuckled.

"Y-you? You're going to kill me? Hahaha! Nerdy, don't you know who am I?" he said between laughters. I rolled my eyes.

"Go out of my house! You asshole!" I shouted. Before I could hit him with the broom he covered my mouth with his hands. And pushed me behind the sofa. And now we are already lying on the sofa together. WTF!!!

"Shhh keep quiet, nerdy. They're here." he whispered on my ears. His breath is actually tickling me. Then my stupid heart is beating fast. What the heck is happening to me?!

"Who's 'they'?" I whispered at him still in our position.

"Just shut up." he said and rolled his eyes.

"Wow look who's talking... Don't forget that you're in my place, Mr. Sangster." I said giving him a death glare. He laugh quietly.

"I can buy this place, nerdy. This is just a piece of cake." he said sarcastically.

"Can we just get out of this is awkward position?" I said rolling my eyes.

"Oh, 'awkward postion' huh?" he laugh. I stood up. He also did.

"Yes, they're not here already." he said in rejoice.

"Can you please explain to me what's happening?! Oh, never mind - just go out of my house!" I shouted at him.

"Oh, no I can't, nerdy." he said giving me a joking smile.

"Why not?!" I shouted at his face.

"Because I'm going to stay here." he said smirking. What now?
