The carrige stopped abruptly in front of Camelot Castle. A woman wearing a purple dress and purple heels stepped out of the carrige. Next a girl with a dragon tattoo, then a girl as white as death, and lastly a fat, plump girl. The driver of the carrige closed the door but a hand stopped him. A muscled figure stepped out. Hort followed the witches and the Dean towards the castle. Word had quickly spread that Tedros was sick in and out the school and castle. Merlin waited for them outside the gigantic door.
He escorted them upstairs towards the room of the King and Queen. Avoiding all statres, they headed straight towards the room. (Except when Dot stopped and stared at the royal painting.) When they arrived, Agatha was on the bed, mopping Tedros' forehead with a wet towel. He looked like he was sleeping, but it was confirmed he wasn't when he grunted. Hester pulled up the chair and sat down. For once she looked worried. Dot and Anadil were beside her. Hort, having confirmed he didn't want to go to Camelot but the witches insisted he come (more of threatened, actually), he stayed poised near the door frame, nose flaring.
Sophie walked quietly towards her sister. A smile spread across her face as she saw her sister. But she knew that she shouldn't be smiling because of the present situation. But she really, really missed her sister. She sat across her.
Agatha noticed the tears in her sisters eyes, the beautiful dress of Lesso. But if she looked closer she could see the eye bags, the tiredness of her sister, similar to Tedros. Concealing her suspicions, she smiled at her sister. But as she looked at sleeping Tedros, she scowled.
She didn't like the secrets being hidden from her. Whatever it is she can take it. She was the one who ended the war just a year ago. She was queen. She was feared by many who didn't know her very well. Feared by people who only knew her by name. She didn't like that a lot but she liked it just a little. At least she was being appreciated.
But now, she felt secrets were present in life. Secrets she knew she was part of. She just wanted to know.
Hort noticed her troubled. Ever since she left for Camelot, Hort became the person she always confessed to. Merlin was the second. She trusted everybody in this room, but Hort understood her. Tedros and Sophie understood her, of course, but Hort was like Merlin. A supervisor. She smiled sadly.
"May we be alone?" A voice suddenly asked. Agatha turned to her sister. Despite her suspicions, she allowed it, because she knew that Tedros will never allow the thing she dreaded. The three witches, Hort, and Agatha went out of the room. Hort ran towards the guest room, the witches trailing behind, whole Agatha went straight for Merlin's cave.
"Did you tell her?" Sophie asked.
"No" Tedros replied with much effort.
"Should we tell her?"
"No. He or she will know our weak spots. Agatha has none."
Sophie nodded. She walked out, asking a maid to care for the King for a while.
