Chapter 3

**4 months later** 

**Cassandras POV** 

Everythings been the same as it was when we first met. We are closer than ever Colson comes to my house almost everyday after school. Its cool but I kind of just want to see what his house is like or his dad but I understand why he doesn't want me to I was a little bit more open than he was. 

The only different thing is that Colson now has a girlfriend Kayla they've been dating for almost a month. She was alright but she would always try to ruin our plans.  

**lunch** 

"Hey guys what are yall doing tonight"I asked all the boys

"Well me and Dub aren't doing anything whatcha got planned?" Slim said

"I want to go to the movies and then find something to do after how does that sound?" I asked

"Sounds great" They all say at the same time

Just when everyone answered Colson and his girlfriend walked up and he sat next to me putting his arm around me. I turn around and hug him looking up at his girlfriend she looks annoyed and rolls her eyes at me. So I tried to let go but he kept hugging me. "So what are you doing tonight?" I asked Colson

He said "Nothing that I know of wanna hang out?" 

"Well we was gonna go to the movies than find something to do after!" I said when looking up to his girlfriend again and she looked more annoyed than before when he said "that sounds fun yeah Ill come get you around 7 and we'll meet everyone there sound good?"

I don't say anything I just kept looking at her. When I didn't answer Colson looked back at her and said "Oh that's cool with you right babe?" she rolled her eyes and walked off "Hold on guys I'll be right back."

When he walked off I just turned around annoyed when I did everyone was staring I said "What?" 

then they all went back to what they was doing. 

**Bell rings

When I walked into class I sat a few seats up from where I usually do trying to give Colson some space I knew I probably caused problems between them and I didn't want to because he seemed happy with her. So if that means ruining our friendship for his happiness I will it won't be easy but I'll do it. I look up to see Colsons 6'4 body towering over me looking down at me confused he said "Cass what are you doing all the way up here did someone take your seat?" I look up and say "Nope just thought I would set here today." he was going to set in the seat right next to me but I hurry and set my bag in the seat. He just looked confused and said "Ok ill just set back here ALONE!" 

I went all hour without talking to anyone just staring out the window.

**Home ec** 

When I walked in I seen Dub and sat next to him laying my head down on the table not saying anything. Just a few minutes later I felt two arms wrapped around my waist I knew it was Colson but I just pushed his hands off my waist and when I did he yelled "What the fuck Cass." just when he did Mrs. Cunningham yelled "Mr. Baker we will not tolerate that kind of language in my class do it again and your out." he sighed and sat down on the other side of Dub. 

I kept my head down listening to the boys conversation. 

"Hey what's wrong with her" Colson asked Dub 

"Man I don't even know she just came in and layed her head down." 

"maybe she doesn't feel good" right after he said that I felt a hand on my head I just let him.
