Chapter 8

           **CASSANDRAS POV**

I woke up with a huge headache and Colsons arm and leg over the top of me I was to tired to get up so I just layed there until I fell back asleep.

                **2 hours later**

I woke back up and this time I didn't have anyones limbs on me and there was a glass of water and Advil on the bed side table. I took the pill and got up I walked past the mirror and I had to back up to look at myself again I noticed that I was not in my clothes from last night and I was in Colsons shirt. I walked into the living room smelling something good and when I walked into the kitchen I seen Colson in there rapping and nodding his head. I sat there for a little while watching him. He turned around going to put something on a plate and jumped when he seen me.

"Hey you scared the shit out of me I was just about to take this in there to you but since your here." He said handing me the plate it had his famous cheese eggs with bacon and toast I didn't waste anytime filling my face. I was finally done and I went and put my plate in the sink. "Hey you should probably start getting ready we have to meet your dad in an hour."

I ran into the bathroom and turned on the shower I stripped down and got in the shower. When I was down I grabbed my towel and walked into my room when I got in there I seen Colson taking off his shorts and I noticed he didn't have underwear under and I said "Oh my im sorry I will go." When  said that he turned around and tried to cover himself quickly but it wasn't quick enough. I laughed and walked back into the bathroom I decided to go and brush my teeth while I was waiting but I was thinking which isn't always a good thing but if I had his clothes on and he had no underwear on than what did we do last night I mean I don't remember anything but hopefully nothing happened. I walked back into the room and I noticed he wasn't in there so I got into the closet and grabbed my clothes and put them on. I got dressed and combed my hair before walking out and walking into the living room where Colson was setting flipping through the channels.

"Hey are you ready." I said he jumped because he didn't know I was there

"Yeah um let me go grab my keys and we will get going." He ran into the room and then came back and opened the door waiting for me to walk out.

It was really quite but then I finally spoke " So what happened last night."

"Well I don't know what happened in the beginning but just before we left Kayla was there and she tried to talk to me but you came in and yall started fighting so we headed home?"

"Oh you mean nothing happened with us I mean I trust you wouldn't do anything while im drunk but its just that I was in your shirt and I noticed you didn't have any underwear under you shorts and I..." He cut me off chuckling a little "No nothing happened... Well you umm... you kissed me but I wouldn't let you do anything else you kept trying to but I didn't." I am so embarrassed that I did that I kept quite the whole time

"You know its no big deal you was just drunk." He said as we pulled up I didn't say anything I just got out of the car and walked in to the diner. When I walked in I seen where my dad was setting and I walked over there when we went to set down the waitress walked up and asked if she could get us something. "Ummm... no I just want a pepsi I already ate."   "I will have the same."

"So honey what have you been doing?" My dad asked "Uh nothing just trying to keep up with school and keep the boys out of trouble." I laughed trying not to remember what had happened.

"Well what about you son anything exciting in your life?"

Colson chuckled and I just looked down "Well pops I was going to tell Cass last night but she uh fell asleep early. But you know I have been just rapping since I was younger well Slim, Dub, And I have started our own label we are calling it EST and Im going to be a rapper I even had my named picked out and everything." When he said that I felt sick so I ran to the bathroom locking the door and going to splash some water on my face." I heard a knock at the door and it was Colson "Hey are you ok? Let me in Cass." I walked over to the door and unlocked it letting him in. I walked over and sat on the sink

"What is wrong Cass is it the hangover?"

"No its because I am just now hearing about this?"

"I was going to tell you last night but you got to drunk."

"No I mean why didn't I know about this like when you first started it?"

"Well I don't know I just thought I would wait until I knew it was all going to work out so I didn't give mine and your hopes up just yet."

"Well does Kylie know?"

"Well yeah but..."

"No buts Colson I can't believe she knows and I didn't."

"Well Slim had a little bit more faith that it was going to work than I did I was sure it was going to fail but it didn't. Please don't be mad I Really had the best intensions I swear."

"I guess im not mad but don't have an ignorant rap name like Thug Nasty or some shit."

         **COLSONS POV**

Thug Nasty I couldn't help but laugh when she said that

"Thug Nasty just doesn't fit me. Come on and lets get back out there so I can tell yall what I want it to be and if you don't like it I will let you help me pick out a new one deal?"

"Deal!" She said as she put her pinky out I know this might seem silly but I loved our pinky promises it meant a lot to me and I know it meant a lot to her so I tangled my pinky with hers and we shook them. I back up to her so she could get on my back and when she got on we headed out of the bathroom and back to where her dad was setting eating I put her down and let her slide in "So pops do you think im going to do good?" 

"Well you and my daughter having been rapping about superman that hoe and other things and I think that yall done a pretty damn good job so yeah I so think you can"

I was stoked when he said that. " Well my rap names going to be Machine Gun Kelly."

I waited to see what everyone was going to say I kind of got nervous waiting for them to say something anything.

"I love it!" Cassandra squealed than hugged me as tight as she could.

"I have faith in you son your going to do great."

We got back to the house and that went a little different than I thought it was going to go but it all worked out.
