Meeting them

I don't remember a thing, how did I get here why was I here and more importantly what's my name. I stood and looked around I was in the woods with a lake nearby I ran to it and started drinking the water and splashing it on my face. Catching a glimpse of my reflection I stopped, I had a white t shirt with jeans and white shoes and a silver sword on my back. That's when I heard a voice in my head, I stumbled back as he said my name he called me Michael and that's all he told me.

55 years later
Gosh I love my job really I do it sounds weird but I'm the spirit of light, arch enemy of pitch black, and best friend of Jack Frost. I met the guardians 45 years ago and have never left their side since their fun people and know how to get the job done. I still haven't understood the whole center thing Santa talks about but it doesn't bother me much, but lately we haven't seen pitch for a long time and I don't like it.
I'm currently sitting outside Norths place on the roof thinking about what my life could have been like if I never knew the guardians. That's when Jack decided to show up.
"Hey man what's up"?
I cracked a smile "nothing much, you"?
His expression went cold,
"I was looking for you".
Ok I'm curious now, "why, what's wrong"?
He floated off the roof a bit and turned to me,
"North has called a meeting apparently the man in the moon has chosen a new guardian".
I would be lying if I said I was surprised I'm pretty sure it's me everyone keeps telling me I would make a perfect guardian but you never know. I swallowed my pride and tried to look surprised.
"Oh really, then let's go find out who it is".
Upon arriving in the work shop I noticed bunny was not there yet.
"Hey jack, where's bunny"?
He looked around for a moment before responding.
"Not sure he should be here soon".
Until then we decided to catch up with North, Tooth and Sandy. Then Bunny finally decided to show up. North was the first to speak,
"Where have you been I called for everyone half an hour ago"?
He just looked ticked,
"I do have a job to do in two days you know that right"?
"Yeah, yeah we know the whole egg thing has got you hooked anyway not the time or place man in moon has chosen a new guardian".
Bunny rolled his eyes,
"Boy won't that be a big surprise".
Everyone just ignored him tho and waited for the moon to raise the stone in the floor showing who the next guardian would be. I felt excited when it started to rise and light shot out of the top forming a figure that we all recognized as me. Everyone cheered and congratulated me but man in moon wasn't done. A loud boom brought our attention back to the light and my figure disappeared as a new one formed. It was shorter then me and curvy like a girl when I realized it was a girl in a tank top and pants holding an ax in each hand with a bow across her back. It was silent like the dead until I spoke first,
"Um.....so.....who's that"?
North shook his head, "impossible ".
That just made me more confused,
"What is"?
Tooth spoke up after a moment,
"The man in the moon never picks more than one guardian at a time, the fact that there's two in one night means big trouble is headed our way".
Bunny crossed his arms, "yeah and what's worse is I've never seen this girl in my life have any of you"?
No one answered until tooth spoke again, "I can find her teeth and try to search for her that way".
Sandy made my face out of sand and then pointed to the girls face and I looked closer.
"Your right sandy she does look kinda like me".
That's when North snapped out of his trance "we must find this girl and bring her here if we split up we might find her faster".
Jack pretended to choke,
"Are you nuts! There's no way we can find this girl ourselves it's like looking for a needle in a hay stack".
I nodded in agreement and it was quiet again till bunny stepped up,
"It's worth a try maybe the man in the moon has an idea of where to find her". We all turned and looked at the moon then the light and saw what looked like a graveyard.
"Why would she be in a graveyard"? Tooth questioned while staring at the light.
North walked around holding his sword "I'm not sure but I'm ready to find her and see why manny is so interested in her and why we need two new guardians".
We all agreed and decided to go search different cemeteries and as usual I went with jack.

      Well there are a lot of cemeteries and it took us well past Easter to have most of them searched. Me and jack are currently flying over a massive cemetery in Ireland with Bunny down below. Something caught my eye so I slowed down and watched from a distance. A huge black creature of some type was creeping around as if it was looking out for something. Looking down I knew Bunny saw it too as he reached for his boomerang someone shot behind a stone. I know Bunny didn't see it so I quickly dropped down and caught his arm before he had the chance to attack. I motioned for him to wait and watch the creature and for a moment I thought I was crazy because nothing was happening. Just as I was about to give him the go a girl dressed in black jumped from behind the stone and swung her ax at what ever it was. Going into battle mode we both rushed over to help but if you don't know what your up against I suggest you stand aside. Bunny was hit first and then me and before it had a chance to crush me it dissolved into black sand. I quickly stood up and went to Bunny he took a blow to the head pretty hard so I had to shake him a bit to get him up. That's when I remembered the girl and turned to find her glaring at both of us.
"Do you both have a death wish or something"?!
Bunny stood and I was speechless so he decided to answer,
"No we were trying to help you so a thanks would have been nice".
She stepped in front of him and I took notice that this girl was extremely short probably no more than five feet.
"You have no idea what that was do you"?
He shrugged,
"What of it"?
Still glaring at him she crossed her arms, "that was a skimguard a very dumb but dangerous undead gosh don't you know anything, it's like you don't know what undead are"!
She froze and looked behind me so I turned around to see Jack standing there with the same look on his face.
"Your guardians aren't you"?
I nodded.
Grabbing her hair she cursed a few times before collecting herself again it was kinda creepy.
" of course you are that explains why you don't know what undead are gosh why didn't I think of that".
Jack stood next to me,
"Well who exactly are you"?
She looked at me and I swear she looked hurt but covered it quickly and looked back to Jack,
"I'm Raven, Raven Black".
