Chapter 7
It's only been a few days before Cassie agreed to the whole dating idea with Chris. They seemed to be going pretty well with each other. Who am I kidding, they were made for each other. I still wondered if I should keep this deal or just break it now, but then again the consequences was not worth it.
We luckily didn't have school today as it was a holiday for students. Teachers however had to attend some workshop. I didn't care as long as I didn't have to go to school.
I wasn't grounded anymore so Ash and me decided to meet early for breakfast at Denny's to set our plans into effect. Cassie and Christian were invited as well.
I got dressed putting my hair up into a simple pony tail and wore a flannel with skinny jeans. Since the weather was good I decided to wear flats instead of my usual kicks. I didn't want Christian to take me. This was going on for a few days now, he didn't seem to mind since he felt like I should spend more time with my 'boyfriend'. I took the bus instead and met Ash sitting at a table of four at the restaurant. I swiftly took a seat in front of him knowing the place was packed. There were even people standing outdoors for there order.
We waited nearly twenty minutes discussing some last minute plans before Christian and Cassie arrived.
Cassie took a seat next to me whilst Chris took a seat next to Ash.
The waitress later came to our table and asked for our drinks. Ash and Cassie got chocolate milk. Christian got Pepsi and I got orange juice. I noticed Chris and Cassie get a little too flirty. They were playing footsie underneath the table and kept giggling.
The drinks came by and we thanked the waitress while taking a look at the menus for what to eat.
Cassie's drink was across from Christian so I thought of a way to make the drink spill on her but not make it my fault. I'm sorry Cassie."Hey Christian lets play arm wrestling! I bet I'll win!!" I chirped.
"Oh it's on Kam!"
I scooted closer to Cassie so we have enough room and I can be able to complete my mission even though it's messed up.
At first I was losing.
But Christian was lost in thought when Cassie cheered him on so I took the advantage and twisted his arm to the other direction hard slamming the drink to the table and spilled all over Cassie's side.
"Oh crap!" I gasped.
The juice managed to spill all over her new white blouse, a orange stain forming over her chest. She got up grabbed my arm and marched over to the rest room.
"What the hell was that Kam?" Cassie was furious taking a wet tissue and blotting her blouse with it.
"Sorry I played a little too rough there..."
She sighed. "Its okay. I just don't want to go back to the restaurant looking like this. The stains are so noticeable too.""Can we just order food to go. We can just ask." Cassie wondered.
"Sure. I'll go tell them."
"Thanks your the best Kam."
I didn't say anything back. I felt like a jerk. I walked back into the crowded diner and saw Ash and Chris with a rag cleaning up the mess from the juice. They picked the contents and noticed me coming.
"So Cassie is okay right?" Chris said concerned.
"Umm yeah. She's okay but she wants to order food to go even though we didn't order yet. Let's just all order pancakes to go."
