Chapter 30 |

I woke up and felt Zharia kicking. She always kicking with her bad self. She's so energetic.

"Zay, wake up!" I said pushing him.

He opened his eyes and looked at me. "What, bae?"

"Feel my stomach!" I said excitedly.

He smiled and touched my stomach. His eyes bulged. "Does this hurt you?"

I shook my head no. He smiled and began talking to my stomach and rubbing my belly. He pulled out his camera and took a picture of this moment.

After ten minutes passed, I decided I would take a shower. I got in the shower for about thirty minutes and when I came out Zay wasn't in our bed. I guess he decided to take a shower in the other room.

I started puttin on my outfit of the day. I put on a loose fitted romper and put my hair in a bun. Today, I was going to see my family. Nova had just come back in town. Her husband and kids decided to stay home.

I walked downstairs and Zay was on the couch dressed in a nice True Religion outfit. He looked so cute.

"Where you going?" I asked.

"Birthday party. Private gig." He said.

"For a girl or a boy?" I asked seriously.

He laughed. "A girl but-"

"Why didn't I know about this a long time ago? You trying do some shit secretively?"

He sighed. "Now you think I'm finna cheat?"

"I'm sure you would. All you nigga's the same. If you cheat on me I swear it's over. I ain't finna be sitting around pregnant while you out cheating. Fuck that shit."

He laughed and grabbed my waist. "What makes you think I would cheat on you, Kia?"

"Rappers cheat, nigga!"

"Well, not me. I love you too much to do that. Now, calm yo ass down."

I turned around and faced him. "You promise?"

He nodded and kissed my lips. "I promise. You can even come, if you want. It's tonight at 10:00."

"Okay, I'll be back before then."

"Where you going? You finna go cheat on me?!" He asked imitating me.

"Whatever and I'm going to hang out with my family. I haven't seen them in 6 months because of you! Ugly ass." I joked.

"You acting up? I'm having put it down before you leave real quick." He held my waist and smacked my ass.

"Move boy, I gotta go. Gimme kiss." I said.

He kissed my lips. "Make sure yo ass is back here by 8:00 or I'm gone leave you."

I nodded and left. I drove over to my mama's house. I know she's still angry I'm pregnant but she's going to have to get over it. I'm a grown ass woman!

When I got there a feeling a happiness overcame me but I was still a little nervous. What would my mother think? I got out the car and knocked. After about a minute the door opened. I looked down and saw Leah smiling at me.

I hugged her and kissed her and she told me how much she missed me. She grabbed my hand and led me to the front room where everyone, except for Nakia and my dad was. Everyone's face lit up and everyone gave me hugs and kisses.

"So, how many months are you?" Asked Nova once we were all seated.

I smiled. "I'm 7 months."

My momma sighed and shook her head in disbelief. "Does this boy care for you? Does he ever cater to you? You pregnant by some dead beat!"

I sighed and told Leah to go to the play room, that contained the computer.

"Momma, that man that you're calling a dead beat is treating me really good! He's buying me stuff I've never even heard off, he's taking care of me, and he's loving me. He got me pregnant but were ready for the responsibility. You need to change your mindset and be happy for me, momma." I said.

She sighed heavily and left the room mumbling something. I decided not to take it personally. I knew she was mad but there was nothing she could do about it.

"So, how's everything been around here?" I asked.

"We've been good. I got a new boyfriend." Lilly said.

I gasped. "Who?!"

"You don't know him, but you'll meet him soon."

I nodded.

"What's the gender of the baby? A girl or a boy?" Asked Lilly.

"A girl. Her name is Zharia. "

Everyone smiled and laughed. So far I was having a good time. I was happy and there was nothing my momma could do about. She would have to just deal with it.

At 8:45, I pulled up at the house. Zay smiled at me when I walked in.

"I was beginning to think you wasn't gone show up."

"I keep my promises, Zay." I said.

I went upstairs and took a quick shower. I put on a black dress that was fitted and some red bottom heels. I grabbed my black Louis Vuitton, purse. Now I was ready!

I ran downstairs and Zay grabbed my hand and we left. We drove for about an hour. The car ride was filled with laughs and jokes. When we arrived at a mansion. The house was huge. Zay's house was huge but this was right here, was even bigger.

"Wow, who's house is this?"

He smiled. "G. Diddy. (Lol, y'all get it? P. Diddy.. G. Diddy!)"

"G. Diddy? He got a daughter?" I asked surprised.

He nodded. "It's her sixteenth birthday and she wanted me to perform. I'm flattered." He said.

I laughed."Your flattered?"

He nodded. "Yep. Lets go, bae."

I smiled and got out the car. We walked into the house and there were tons of people there. They all looked young and happy. I know they were happy to be invited to G.diddy's house.

We walked over to a room where G.diddy and some girl stood.

"Wassup, Zay? Who's this?" He asked.

"Wassup, Diddy. This is my girlfriend and baby momma."

"Nice to meet you." He said.

"Nice to meet you. I'm a big fan." I said.

He nodded and smiled. "I'm happy to know that. My daughter is still getting ready, she'll be down soon. She'll be so surprised that your here, she loves you!"

Zay smiled. "That's nice to hear. I can't wait to meet her."

We sat down and made small talk until G.diddy'a daughter got on the microphone and said hello to everyone. I was surprised that they had a stage in their house, like who has a stage in their house?

G.diddy smiled. "Now it's time you go surprise her. She's gone be real happy, mane."

Zay got up, leaving me with G.diddy and some girl. We could see the stage from where we sitting. We had a good view.

I saw Zay go on stage and Diddy's daughter lost it. Her eyes bulged and a few tears of joy slipped down her face. Zay hugged her and the crowd went insane. Zay asked everyone to sing happy birthday to her and performed a little song for her. She looked so happy and that's when I knew Zay was getting paid ALOT to be here.

When we got home, I went straight to bed. I had fun but I was 7 months pregnant and sleepy. I'd take a shower in the morning but right now, the bed was calling my name!

Cali's POV

Zavier hasn't been home since his dad came and got him, that was 1 week ago. I grabbed my phone and called Gino.

"Gino, where's my baby?" I asked once he answered.

"He's here with me. I'll bring him home tomorrow."

"Yeah and why did you put my business on blast like that? Everybody think i'm crazy, Gino."

"Cause' it needed to be done. You a crazy ass bitch, Cali. You need help. I gotta go." He said and hung up.

I sat on my bed staring into space. I was angry at Gino. I wanted to seriously rip his head off.

I began laughing at the thought of me ripping Gino's head off.

"Ahhaaaa! Oh, god! Ahhaaa! Gino's headddd in my hand!" I laughed aloud.
