He had been sleeping for the past 9 hours. He woke up slowly. The sun reaching his eyes, making him curse. He never liked sun, nor light in general. He was always a man of the moon.
He went to the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth.
Shit, where is my bag?
Thank god he has a habit of leaving things close to where he sleeps.
He washed his face and then looked at himself in the mirror. Dark brown hair, green eyes, full colorless lips, unshaved jaw. Everything she liked.
I had to leave her.
No I didn't. I could have stayed with her. I would treat her right.
No, I was ruining her.
I was fucking her. She didn't seemed ruined to me.
He punched the mirror, little pieces pierced his skin, blood was running slowly on his hands.
"STOP!" he screamed and placed both of his hands on his head. Like they could tame the demons.
He started laughing uncontrollably. He fell on his four and started crawling to his bag.
The pills. He had to reach the pills before it was too late.
Oh shut up!
Where was he? The room felt unfamiliar. The damn sun had him put his hand in front of his face. The last memory he could regain contained him and Vee having sex in her house.
He was used to this shit anyway.
He fixed his clothes that had dried on him and headed to the lobby of the motel. He spotted the bimbo receptionist eyeing him carefully.
She knew.
"Hello, sweetheart." The woman was taken aback from his gesture and just parted her lips in order to respond, but nothing came out.
"Oh, cat got your tongue?" He smiled at her and stroked a strand of her hair.
A penetrating stub in his head made him lose his balance.
"Are you okay?" The woman asked grabbing him from one arm. She couldn't really hold him for too long.
He tried to massage his head, but fell unconscious on the floor.
