Molly's eyes widened a fraction. "W-Wait. You know my mi-"

"'Lyneth'?" Jeff asked from his seat, interrupting Molly's question.

Ben turned to him in confusion, his eyebrow raised in puzzlement. "Is that what you heard?" He turned to look at Slenderman, hoping to god that Slenderman did not hear the same thing. "I heard 'Tetra'."

Everyone muttered and shuffled in their seats before Eyeless Jack, who had been silent throughout this meeting, spoke up. "I heard something different too. It's a very odd name, so I'm surprised she has it."

Molly opened her mouth to explain, but was cut off by Slenderman. "What you hear is based on what you want to hear. Or at least a name that you all can relate to."

"R-Right." Molly stared at Slenderman for a while. He acted as though he knew her mistress, which made her wonder if he knew that this would happen.

However, Molly looked away and cleared her throat. She was not one to snoop into other's matters.

"My mistress's' name comes in many shapes and lengths, as well as her form. She told me that that was how her power worked," Molly interjected, furthering the knowledge. "I admit, even I have a problem understanding. But as long as you think of her when you speak the name, it will change for the other person."

Toby blinked underneath his mask and scratched his cheek. This was a little complicated for him to understand. "Uhhhh... Can you translate that for the people who can't magic?"

"Okay. Let me rephrase that," Jeff growled, shooting a glare at the hatchet bearing male. "Everyone hears something different.... The end. Now shut the fuck up."

Slenderman instinctively covered Sally's ears with two tendrils, not wanting her to hear Jeff go on on another cursing tangent. But Sally already knew the words. She and Jeff played a lot together. But before Slenderman anything got out of hand, he raised his hand and silenced Jeff with an eyeless glare. Jeff felt the other's gaze and huffed, turning away from him to cool off. Jeff often forgot that he was in the presence of children. Not that he cared or anything. Seeing that Jeff was calming himself down, Slenderman lowered his hand and placed it on top of Sally's head. He ruffled her head affectionately, something out character for him. Sally blinked a couple of times before she turned her gaze back at her tall friend from where she stood, wondering what he wanted.

Then she understood. She had to leave.

Sally pouted sullenly and squeezed Mr. Bear's cloth paw as Slenderman acknowledged Jeff with a glance, beckoning him forward. This was his punishment for speaking such profanities. Rolling his eyes, Jeff got up from the couch with ease before stopping in front of the young girl.

"Do I have to?" Sally asked, giving Slenderman the most convincing puppy dog eyes.

The place where Slenderman's eyebrows should have been drew up sadly before he nodded. He patted her shoulder, encouraging her to listen. Sally stared up at Slenderman hesitantly, but she looked away sadly, giving him a mental farewell before she took Jeff's hand and they both exited the room.

A few minutes later, Jeff returned to the room and leaned against the wall. He found Slenderman at his chair and gave him a nod, indicating that Sally was safe outside.

Slenderman nodded in response and turned his attention to Molly. He unbound her hands a few minutes ago, seeing that they were bothering her. And after doing so, he asked her to remove her skates and to take a seat on one of the chairs. Of course, they kept her a few feet away for precautionary measures.

"Please. Tell us everything you know about this woman and the messages," Toby spoke from his place.

Jeff frowned and crossed his arms in front of his chest. He did not like how slow they were getting the information out of her. If he had been put in charge, she would have been a sobbing mess at his feet, ready to reveal everything she knew.
