Prologue Or Not :

Many romance books contain prologue sand many of them don't. So a dilemma most beginning writers face is the choice, to have a prologue or not.

Prologue :

- your characters should have history together, give a scene of their first meeting, their last meeting, their happiest moment, their breaking point, their first kiss, etc.

-if the story is more than just simple romance you should give an insight to the other aspects of the plot through the prologue.

No prologue :

-the characters are new, oblivious and have no history or connection. There is also the fact that there are no other elements of the plot.
