Getting To Know You

It's the next day and I feel great waking up. I got the first impression rose, so that must mean something. I must have had an impact on him.

I felt my phone buzz under my pillow. I quickly put it on mute. I get up and leave the room. I head outside and talk near the gates. Electronic devices were ban in the mansion because Chris Harrison wanted everyone to get to know each other. Plus I didn't want to wake my roommates Becky and Emily.

"Hello?" I say quietly. "Hey, why are you whispering?" Jenna  asked. "Because I'm not allowed to talk right now, now what is it? Why did you call?" I asked. "I wanted to know how last night went?" She asked. "Well I'm still at the mansion." I say. "Oh my goodness, that's great!" she yelled.

"Yeah, guess what?" I said. "What?" she asked. "I got the first impression rose." I tell her. "No you didn't!" she screamed. I move the phone from my ear and roll my eyes. "Yeah I was shocked also." I said after I put the phone near my ear.

"Wow." She said. There was a long pause before she talked again. "Are you still there to prove me wrong or are you starting to like this guy?" She asked. "I'm still here to prove you wrong. You think me getting the first impression rose is going to make me forget why I came here?" I asked her. "I mean you never know." She said. "Well it's not."

"Hey, the date card is here!" I heard Danielle yell from inside. "I have to go, I'll call you back." I said. "Okay bye, have fun!" she said. I rolled my eyes, hanged up and walked towards the mansion. When I was inside, I hid my phone in my breast area and entered the living room.

"What does it say? What does it say?!" Hanna yelled. "Allison, Let's be kids for a day! - Connor." She read. "Oh, I wonder where you guys are going." Emily said with excitement. "Yeah.." Becky agreed. "Yeah me too." I said.

I left the girls and rushed to my room to get ready for my date. I mean get together. I decide to wear jeans and a baby blue T-shirt that looks more like a blouse. I don’t feel the need to dress elegantly if we're going somewhere that's kid like.

I leave the room and see Connor waiting there for me. When he notices me, he gets up and smiles. "Are you ready?" he asked. I nod and the other girls say. "Bye Connor!"

"Have fun Allison!" Emily yelled. I walked out with Connor hand and hand. I spot a black vehicle in the front of the mansion. 

"Your car is not as expensive and nice as I thought it would be." I say. "I'm not gonna have a fancy car, I'm a regular guy." he said opening the car door for me.

"Thanks." I say and get in. "I would think you would. A lot of people like to show off for the camera." I say. "Not me, I act like myself." he said. After he got in, he starting driving.

We arrive to an arcade. I was shocked but happy at the same time because we were going to have a lot of fun.

"This is going to be fun." I said. "Yeah.." he agreed. I feel him grab my hand. I began to run with him.

We ended up going to go-carts and raced each other. We couldn't help but smile and laugh at each other the whole time. Connor end's up winning and rubs it in my face. I roll my eyes.

He came close to me and hugged me. When I tried to release, he continued to hug me. Our hug began to feel intense. When he let's go, he stares me in the eyes.

I couldn't look away. His eyes were so beautiful. They reminded me of the ocean waves with a little mixture of emerald crystals. "Your eyes are beautiful." he says. "So big and brown." he added. I smile than look away. I don't want to get attached to him. I'm here for one reason. To prove that this process is fake.

He takes my hand and brings me to a table with pizza and wine on it. I couldn't help but smile. I sat down and saw a rose on the table than looked back at him.
