After The Final Rose

"We are here tonight with Connor and his fiancé Emily! Also past bachelors and bachelorettes will be joining us as I announce the next bachelorette." Chris Harrison announces and everyone from the audience claps.

"Allison is here tonight! How did she feel going home as a runner up?" He yells."And who will be are next bachelorette? We will find out here tonight on after the final rose!" Chris Harrison yells and the announce screams.

"But first let me welcome America's favorite girl this season, Allison!" He yelled out. Everyone in the audience got up from their seats to clap.

I walked out and waved to the crowd with a big smile on my face. "Hey Chris." I said as I approached him. "Hey." He answered back. I got on stage and hugged Chris before sitting down on the chair that was placed on stage.

"So, how have you been?" He asked me. "I've been great." I said while smiling. "So anything new?" Chris asked. "Well I decided to go back to school and I'm majoring in business." I announced and the audience clapped.

"That's wonderful!" Chris said and high-fived me. "So, are you happy for Emily and Connor?" He asked. "Yes, it's actually been a couple of months I've seen them. So I'm excited to see them tonight." I stop then continue.

"During my time in the house I thought Emily was so sweet and we actually became close friends and Connor is a lucky guy." I say with a sweet smile.

"Well you'll get to see Emily tonight along with Connor." He announced and the crowd went wild. "But first I would like to announce that...Allison." He says and stops. "Yes?" I ask looking at him. "You are our new bachelorette!" He yelled and the crowd went crazy. I put my hands over my mouth in shock. "Really?" I asked as I got up and Chris hugged me.

"You will be dating 25 men in hopes of finding your husband and The bachelorette will be premiering this spring." He announced. Everyone cheered.
Allison hugged Chris again before walking off the stage.

"We would like to welcome Connor!" Chris yelled and everyone from the audience got up and cheered. "Hey man." Chris said patting Connor on the back as he walked up to him. They hugged as Connor got on the stage and both sat down in their seats.

"How have you been?" Chris Harrison asked Connor. "I've been good." Connor said smiling at Chris as he passed his hand threw his hair. "How has life been? How is Emily? Are you excited to see her tonight?" He asked. "I know you guys have had to keep your relationship on the low." He adds. "I'm so excited to see her tonight and she's great and I'm just super happy right now." Connor says.

"Well Allison is here tonight, do you like how things ended?" Chris asked. "Well no I wished it would've ended better then it did and that I didn't have to hurt her, I was in love with her it's just my love for Emily was stronger." He comments and shrugs. "Well if you haven't heard yet Allison is going to be our new bachelorette." Chris Harrison announced. The crowd cheered. "That's great, I wish her well." Connor said.

"We are going to go on break but when we come back, I will be bringing Connor's fiancé Emily out." he announced and the crowd cheered.

They had a commercial break.

"We are back! Can you guys please get up and help me welcome Connor's fiance Emily!" he yelled as Emily walked out and waved to the crowd. "hey." Chris said. "hey." Emily said as she walked on stage to join Chris and Connor. Chris walked towards her and hugged her. After they were done hugging Emily sat down next to Connor. "How are you?" Chris asked and smiled at them.

"I'm good." She said while her arm was on Connor's lap. "Are you excited to see Connor?" he asked. "Yes of course, after the show aired we've been seeing less of each other so that nobody would know we're together so I'm glad now that we can be public." She announced and the crowd cheered. "Are you happy you were picked?" he asked. "of course, I'm happy. Connor is my best friend, we can talk about anything together. he's the love of my life." she answered while playing with her ring. Connor looked at her and gave her a kiss.

"It looks like you've been missing her." Chris said looking at Connor. "Yeah, I'm so glad we can be public and hang out more." he said. "Look at that rock!" Chris said as he grabbed Emily's hand. When he let go the camera zoomed in on her ring as she held her hand up. "How many carats?' he asked. "5.5" she answered. "Nice Connor." Chris said and Connor smiled at him. "Did you know that Allison is here?" he asked Emily. "No." Emily said suddenly excited.

"Allison come on out!" Chris yelled and Allison walked out again and the crowd cheered. "hey." I said walking on the stage and hugging Emily then Connor. I sat on the same couch as them but a little far from Emily. "How are you?" Emily asked me. "Great." I answered.

"Congratulations." I said to her. "thanks." She said smiling at me and I looked at the ring. "Nice Connor." I said to him and he nodded agreeing. "So I brought Allison out her to announce to you Emily that she's our new bachelorette." Chris said smiling at all of us.

"Really that's fantastic!" Emily said and hugged me. "Well the night is coming to an end. I have a few questions before we end. Are you guys planning to get married soon?" he asked Emily and Connor. "Wedding bells are coming soon, maybe the summer. maybe a year from now. We'll keep you updated." Connor said smiling. Emily nodded agreeing with him.

"Well that's great to here, will your wedding be filmed or you want a more private scenery?" Chris asked. "Definitely filmed, we met this way so we'll cherish to being together forever this way also." Emily said. the crowd cheered. "Well bachelor nation, you know we love and appreciate you." Chris Harrison said to the cameras.

"Well we have former bachelor and bachelorette couples here tonight in the audience supporting the bachelor nation." Chris Harrison said as he pointed them out. "Well that looks like all the time we have for tonight. Make sure you don't miss Allison on the bachelorette airing this spring on Mondays at 8pm/9pm central. Good night everybody!" after Chris said that everyone from the audience cheered. Connor and I hugged. After we hugged Connor, Emily and I talked until the show stopped airing.

Connor and Emily invited me out to dinner but I decided to decline because I just wanted to go home and rest. I still couldn't believe I was the bachelorette. After the show, I called Jenna and told her everything. We're still close as ever. She is truly my best friend.

She is so excited for me and believe that I will find my husband on this journey and I believe it to. She was bummed to find out I didn't win against Emily but she was excited for the new journey that was about to encounter.

For someone who went from believing the bachelor was fake and a joke and that there was no way you can fall in love with someone with knowing each other for such a short of amount a time, I realized how wrong I was. it doesn't matter about how long the process is or how many people you meet during it.

What matters is you meet a great person that wants a happy ending just like everyone else and you can to be yourself around them and that's what makes you fall for them.

This was an exciting unforgettable journey and I would like to thank Connor for proving me wrong. Sure I didn't win the bet but I did win something. Hope.

I told Connor about the bet between Jenna and me during hometown dates and at first he was confused but then he just laughed it off, he thought I was ridiculous for even making a bet like that.
