Chapter 6 (good news and bad news)

Sonic POV

After I woke up from the nightmare, I snuggled up to Shadow and fell asleep again except it was dreamless. I woke up in the morning running to the bathroom and emptying my stomach of my broken down food and stomach acids. Shadow woke up soon after and he saw me in the bathroom and he rubbed my back gently as I continued to puke up nonexistent liquids, acids and mush. After that I cleaned the bath and ate some dry crackers. Shadow said that he was worried about the baby because of all the stress I went through yesterday so he wanted me to have a checkup. I put my disguise on and we visited Dr Phillip. As soon as we told him that I was pregnant, he automatically assumed that we had "fun" because he got rid of the first baby. He asked me one hell of a lot of questions and then he finally asked me if I wanted an ultrasound. I nodded and he took us to a specialised room and he put some gell on my stomach. He got this weird mouse thing and dragged it along my stomach, looking around the womb. He finally found something that seemed out of place and he heaved a sigh of relief.

'The babies are alright, just make sure that Carrie doesn't have another big panic attack or stress like she did yesterday.' He told us, mainly directing it at Shadow though. I looked at Dr Phillip in confusion because he said "babies".

'Excuse me Dr, but do you mind telling me what you mean by babies?' I asked. Dr Phillip smiled at me and told me that I was having triplets. ((YESSSS I ALWAYS WANTED TO DO THISSS)) Shadow looked shocked and then he hugged me tight. I was still in shock but I managed to hug him back. The Dr informed a Shadow that I would experience mood swings and yadda yadda yadda. I didn't hear much since I zoned out from the though of having triplets. Shadow snapped me out of my daze and told me to listen to Dr Phillip. He told me that I couldn't run (which saddened me to the point where i am going to have nag Shadow every day to skate at super speed so I can get my daily adrenalin rush) for five months. I agreed to all the terms and after we left, I told Shadow that I am going to miss running, hoping that he'd offer to hold me while running at super speed. He offered which I was ecstatic about and we made a deal that every day that he'd go for a "run" with me. He chaos controlled us back to the house and laid me on the couch telling me to sleep. I obeyed.

Shadow POV

As Sonic fell sleep on the couch, I got some dried biscuits out for her and put them in a bowl and I set it down on the coffee table beside her. I sat down on the end of the couch and I connected my red and black Bluetooth Beats to the tv so I could watch something without waking Sonic up. I soon got bored and I got the Xbox remote out and started playing GTA V. I was launching an attack on the military airforce base when Sonic decided to wake up. I disconnected my Beats and Sonic nibbled on a biscuit. She soon devised a competition to where every time someone dies, we swapped and we had to complete a challenge. The first bit was to raid the airport and steal a plane and then we had to land on top of mount chilliad ((I CANT SPELL!!!)) and the ride one of the mountain bikes down chilliad and then we had to steal a jet from the military airforce base. ((I do this with my friend, it's sooo fun!)) We kept dying when we went down chilliad, we kept on falling off the trails and getting eaten by the coyotes. It got late and Sonic fell asleep on my shoulder. I smiled at how cute she looked. I got up and stretched, I then scooped Sonic up and took her upstairs, laying her down on the bed and letting her rest for awhile. I then gently shook her awake, telling her to get into her pyjamas and come downstairs when she's ready. I then went downstairs and made dinner for us. I pasta for the both of us and as she came down, she was rubbing her eye and yawning cutely. When I gave her her pasta, I told her that I put chilli sauce in hers and her tail started wagging. ((Her pj pants have a hole for her tail)) after we finished, I noticed that Sonic's tummy was slightly bigger than last time. I smiled at her.

'Looks like they're growing already.' I said. Sonic smiled at me and placed her hand on her stomach.

'It does seem like that doesn't it.' She said, massaging her stomach. I went over to her and lifted her top up, just exposing the stomach. ((Were u expecting Shadow to take her top off fully? *smirks*)) I lent down and kissed her tummy three times, one for every little hedgehoglett. I then kissed her on the lips, not wanting her to feel excluded. She kissed me back with a lot of passion.
