They were trapped inside that maze. Everyone heading their separate ways. Okay, let's start with Maki and Toki.
"Hey Maki. Do you think we will meet up with them?" Toki asked her.
"What do you mean?I know that we will meet up no matter what." Maki said with a convincing voice.
"I know. But, the traps that Yui mentioned about…do you think there really are any?" Toki questioned Maki once again.
This time, Maki's voice wavered when she spoke, "I'm…I'm sure that it's not true."
"Okay." Toki replied.
Toki wanted to comfort Maki by patting her head but, he was too embarrassed and shy. Maki suddenly saw light and yelled to Toki, "Hey!TOKI I SEE THE EXIT!"
"Wai-wait!" Toki said alarmed.
It was too late, Maki started running towards the light. Maki suddenly halted…she backed up and approaches Toki slowly.
"To-to-Toki." She said as her voice stuttered. "White…white fire!"
They stood there paralyzed. Never in their lives have they ever seen something such as white fire.
"Wh-what should we do?" Maki said.
Toki replied frightened, "Let's just run the opposite direction."
Toki and Maki started to sprint towards the other way. Sadly, a giant boulder started to roll their way.
Toki grabbed Maki and they ran through the white fire. Luckily there wasn't much fire, Maki and Toki barely got burned but they still stop, drop and rolled.

Maki opened her eyes as she laid on her stomach in the green-ish grass. It was still drizzling rain but compared to what Maki faced in the maze, the rain was nothing. Maki laid there getting all muddy and wet. She started to play around with the flowers on the ground when, suddenly she kicked something with her leg. She immediately sat up and stared at the giant boulder. It crashed right through that wooden cabin. It seemed like she kicked the boulder. The cabin was completely destroyed in one side because of the boulder. Maki observed her surroundings and concluded the fact that she was behind the cabin. Maki sat there dazed for a few seconds…before she realized that Toki wasn't there.
"TOKI TOKI!" Maki yelled.
She heard a groan from behind the boulder.
"Oh my gosh. Toki…are you alright!?" Maki yelled alarmed.
"Where are we?" Toki asked.
"We've made it outside of the maze. But…it seems like your arm got injured from the traps." Maki said alarmed.
Toki looked at his arm for a few seconds. It was nothing like a major injury. Just a few burn and a cut. It was bleeding but, it didn't seem too bad. Maki ripped of the leaves from some trees and wrapped them around Toki's arm.
"Should we go bac-" Toki started to say before a big bag flew over him.
"Toki!" Maki yelled.
It seemed like they were being kidnapped.
"Get your hands off me." Toki said as he started kicking the bag and trying to aim at the person. Maki screamed as loud as she could.
"Someone…someone help us!" Maki yelled.
Toki got seriously pissed at the person who took Maki away. He started to kick more ferociously.
"Whoa…whoa whoa. Stop kicking…I'm just here to hold you guys as bait. I need to lure out that vampire my villagers saw." A guy said.
Toki recognized this voice, "Wait aren't you…"
