Chapter 4

Thinking just two years ago, my mother left me in the world of cruelty. My father, step-mother, & my older sister hating that I exist, made me wanting to die yet can't die. Every single day, I wake up to the same old world.
One day, an imperial minister came to our house. He told us that me & my sister will have to enter into the royal palace to become the new emperor's concubine. I had no choice but to become one, yet I knew, my fate would be the same like my mother.
5 days later..
As me & Ling Long was walking down to the carriage, I remembered that I forgot my hairpin that my mother gave to me when I was younger so I told Ling Long to go wait for me outside while I go back to my room. I walked by first mistress room, then I heard her talking to my older sister. (MiXia) "Thank god, that seducing fox died from my poison!" First mistress said. "Mother, she deserved it. Who told her to seduce father & born a bane star." MiXia said. "Second mistress died now, so Miyue doesn't have any support. You must catch the emperor's attention and become empress of Qing!" First mistress said. "Definitely, I'm so beautiful. Miyue will died in my hands once I become empress." MiXia said. I couldn't believe what I just heard, "I respected first mistress & MiXia my whole life. Not complaining what they do or say to me but poisoning my mother?" I said to myself. My anger inside of me, boiling like hot water. I ran to the carriage & cried to myself until we got to the palace. All along, she was the one who killed my mother. I realize, my mother had been killed because of jealously. I no longer had respect for them. "I swear to heaven, I will seek revenge for my suffering mother. Not leaving one single person alive if they get in my way." I said. I then, had to become empress. The one & only empress with power.
