Chapter 5

I've been given the title "Mi Guifei." I live in the resident of Broken Jade Palace while MiXia lives in Shu Fang Zhai. MiXia got the favor of the emperor. She bullied all the consorts, disrespecting them due to not being favored like her. Everyone hated her, but I wanted to rip her into pieces. My hatred grew more, more & more.
One month later...
I was walking in the beautiful imperial garden, I suddenly ran to the river. I took my shoes off, putted my feet into the cold, calm water. Then, someone covered my eyes. I quickly got up & my foot slipped off the rock & dragged the man into the river with me. I wasn't able to swim, but I felt someone grabbing my hands & pulling me up. Before, I could see his face, I fainted.

"She got frightened, she also caught a cold. But after some tonics, she will be normal." The Imperial Phsyican said. "You worked hard doctor Su." The emperor said. "Thank you, my lord." Imperial Phsyican said.

I opened my eyes, seeing bright colored fabric, litted candles, with the smell of jasmine flowers. I looked to my right, there was a man standing tall, with a sweet smile with a sweet aroma.
"His majesty! The lady is awake." Gu Gong Gong said. "How are you feeling?" The emperor said.
"Uh...umm...yes...yess." I said uttering my words. "Don't worry, I won't bite you. Gu Gong Gong, let's go." The emperor said. "Yes, my lord." Gu Gong Gong replied.
I quickly got up from my bed, trying to remember what happened but Ling Long came in with the tonic. She told me, I fell into the water but I also pulled the emperor into the water with me.
"The emperor granted you a hairpin, that means he'll be sending you to his bed!" Ling Long said. "Yes, but after one night, I'll become a lonely concubine, just like my mother...." I said.
