When I had woke up, just my luck I had lost my buddy.

I walked over a few feet to spot her with none other than my brother.

"Nat... We all love you being romantic but do you mind uh doing it somewhere else where were not eating an equivalent to breakfast." David said who was behind me patting me on the shoulder. It was amazing how you can make a best friend in less than 7 hours.

Luke stopped making out with Nat and went over to Chase who was assigning us and our buddies tasks.

"Hey, Bruno we have to go into the woods and find water of some sort," Nat said ignoring David's comment. I nodded and decided to skip breakfast.

"Nat where are you from?" David asked trying again to strike conversation.

"I'm not telling" She replied

"Why not?" I asked smiling.

"You'd make fun of me..." She said

"He would, I won't" I said pointing to David who snickered.

"Promise?"

"Promise."

"Ok Hollywood," She said causing me to burst out laughing. David smiled widely.

"Your and ass..." Nat said looking genuinely upset. I stopped laughing and shrugged. "Oh did you shrug when you found out you killed somebody?" Nat continued causing David to stop smiling and open his mouth in a wide O.

"Let's get to work" I said. I've heard worse and I pissed her off so she won this one. I said bye to David and we disappeared in the jungle. It was more like a rainforest than anything. It was dark even in the blaring sun.

"Wow," Nat said

It really was "wow". Plants and colors of all kinds. Shapes and sizes like no tomorrow. It was amazing. The little animals cowered behind what seemed like fruits on trees. This was a sort f paradise. Maybe it was also a paradise because at the point Nat saw the critter she tightly clutched my arm.

The people of Massachusetts were not always the smartest but knew when to stay away from the boyfriend's brother. Maybe the people of LA were a tad different.

The jungle was amazing but no sings if water. The jungle was moist though so that had to mean something.

"Let's keep going a bit farther." Nat said reading my mind. I nodded absentmindedly and continued. A snake slithered between us and Nat didn't even scream just gasped and jumped kind of on me. Clueless. " I hope my hair doesn't get messed up..." Nat exclaimed in a whisper.

"Nat-" I began. I was going to say that this was so irrelevant to survival and that of course her hair was already messed up but in fact. It wasn't. It was perfect. It was freaky. I noticed that none of her hair yesterday at our "precious first encounter" and it was dry.

Before I could say anything else though the jungle trees started to lesser.Like a completely different world. The dirt floor turned green. First thing I saw was an enormous waterfall with what seemed like a pond and then a small river stream. Green perfect grass. The trees differed in shape and style looking like a place in summer Vermont. Oak trees, streams and nature stuff.

Then I realized how thirsty I was. Nat ran to the waterfall cupping her hands in the water drinking. She looked at me and motioned to come. Nothing on earth stopped me. I drank and drank and drank until I thought I was drunk on water.

Nat giggled at me excessive drinking of water. At this point I knew I didn't need lunch.

"Save some for Luke" she said smiling. We were going to survive and we for even happier when we saw a goat and llama run across the stream. "We can't die here,"She said "It's impossible I mean we have everything. "
