What It Means To Be Super

Hey there. I'm Angelo, also known as Wundern, which means Marvel in German.

Shh! I'm a superhero, but no one can know. I just save Placeville, protect civilians, and hide in my cardboard box.

This is pretty normal for me.

I'm really tall for my age--16-- and I have dark brown hair. And, despite my x-ray vision, my eyesight sucks. I have really high prescription glasses that I HAVE to wear to see anything. Me without my glasses would be as bad as a bird without wings. I installed lenses into my mask so I can do my superhero business without the glasses.

I don't have a favorite anything, really. I mean, have you ever heard of a biased superhero? No. As far as morals go, I like to settle things with as little violence as possible. I usually depend on my so-called "wit" and charm. (Insert sarcasm). And, of course, my humor. What would a superhero be without his (or her, for you sexist people) signature haha-I-caught-you punch line?

I guess you all want to know my story. Like, "OMG who the heck gave you superpowers!?" Or maybe "what lab did you escape from?" Or most likely "What planet are you visiting from?"

To be honest, I'm not exactly sure where I came from. All I remember from my childhood is watching two people--a man and a woman--being murdered brutally in front of my innocent eyes. Then everything was black until I woke up in an alley with homeless people hunched over me and the name Angelo Delmark on my mind. I didn't get magical crystals like Superman to tell me who I was. I didn't make my superpowers like Batman and Ironman. As far as I was concerned, I wasn't a science experiment like Spider Man or The Hulk. I didn't get stuck in time like Captain America. I just...appeared. Sorta like Hancock. No solid past, just memories of a long ago murder.

I still wonder who the people who were murdered were. Maybe...parents? Grandparents? Godparents? Scientists? Two random people? And did I know them? Were they strangers? I usually tried not to over think it.

My powers? Well, I just sort of discover them as I get older and progress in my superhero career. When I first started out, I realized I had super strength/invincibility. After a while, I realized with a lot of concentration that I could see through objects.

And this is a really long introduction about me.
