Chapter 7

We finally arrived back at my dorm after 10 minutes of nagging and muffled laughter.

Inola swung the door open and almost murdered me in the face."Inola omg, what the heck man."
       "Ah, I apologize, Amma." Ama? Is that a nickname? Maybe she finds saying my name too difficult. Just as we settled in my door Inola called the office to get the kid.
        About 10 minutes later two people came to the door. They had tags that said 'VV2' and 'VV2',"Are you here to take him?" I asked Sheepishly. They were quiet tall, around 6'4, I could see lines all across their bodies, they looked like women but I could tell they were robotic. They seemed expressionless, there was a faint ticking Coke from their chests.*tick* *tick* *tick*.
       One finally formed a smile, their eyes seemed so real and brown.."Yes, we're going to help the little one. He is sick." They took the little vampire and cradled him in their hands. He was pink in the cheeks and his breathing was shallow. None of us noticed he was in such critical condition, but the question is, is he like that from the food or from what Inola did  to him?
       They took him and said they would bring him to his family, hopefully happy and healthy. The hamburgers were almost done when we heard a knock at the door. Finn jumped out of his seat to open the door. It was Lono and her kids, they looked like twins. Dressed the same but with different expressions. They were wearing matching fox kugurumi's with red dolly shoes. They looked quite adorable in them, it makes me want to dress Cosima like that, Maybe even Inola. They looked like miniature versions of their mother,but with a darker tint.
Dark blue hair with purplish pink at the tips, their hair was straight aside from the curls at the tips. Wait...they weren't quite identical, ones eyes were a crimson red, and the other had electric blue eyes like their mother."umm, where did the red eyes Come from?" She seemed a bit surprised at my question, but answered quite elegantly."Akane gets their red eyes from their father, Hajime got my blue eyes. Their father is a vampire you see, it's quite a mixture to me. A Japanese  vampire with a Hawaiian mermaid? Ain't that cool?" I smiled because of how happy she seemed when she talked about her family.
"Where is the father?" Inola said a bit rudely."He's at a meeting with the dean of the school, they've been friends for quite some time so he's her most valuable asset to the school. Inola opened her mouth to say more but bit her lip. I wonder why she's so hostile towards her all of a sudden, she seemed so eager to talk to her a while ago.
         "Blondie!" The twins said in unison, they were referring to my dyed blonde hair, it was kinda flashy but I like it. My natural hair color was already coming coming back at the roots. My hair was naturally a dark brown and it just seemed too bleak and boring. I think the blonde suites my flushed face and light brownish green eyes.
        "Garnet!" I yelled hoping they watched Steven universe. Their eyes glistened with awe and squealed "Garnet! Garnet!"  Hajime's little hand locked with mine and it made me melt. Children are so cute~. Akane chose to roam the apartment and meet everyone in it, they gave Inola a high five, Finn a hug, played with Cosima's hair. They seemed quite extroverted, while Hajime was just watching. They didn't seem introverted but just seemed more attached to me. I looked up at Lono as I was about to pick up Hajime and she nodded. I picked up Hajime and sat them down on my lap."Aren't you a cute little kid? Your hair is so curly and soft~ I wish I had hair like yours mine is a little curly too, you see? *i curled the ends of my hair around my finger and posed with a cute smile* "But it only curls at my ends..." I pretended to sulk then Hajime started to braid my hair,"I like yur hair, it's  loik gold, and I'm not a kid I'm a girl."
        "Mama said that it's alright for me to be a girl, mama said that just because I was born with boy parts it's okay that I'm a girl."I nodded my head and smiled."Is Akane a girl or a boy?" Hajime's eyes twinkled and she said very sternly,"Akane is a boy."
"Of course," I gave Hajime a sweet smile,"It's done!" She jumped off my lap to play with Inola's hair. Lono gracefully came toward me,"Could you prepare this for Akane and Hajime."*she handed me a bag of freshly cut meats* "Sometimes I forget I have to change my diet around the house for Akane, Hajime, and my husband. This is a special treat for people with vampire blood."
"Yes." I gave her my dashing sweet smile and put my hair in a ponytail. I glanced to my right to see if everyone was ok before I started cooking, Cosima seemed distracted...
