Chapter 13

    We are all sitting at the table eating the delicious food that Sebastian made. "This is delicious Sebastian." I say.

"Thank you Cat. At least someone," he glares at Ciel, "appreciates my cooking. I always knew I would meet someone who likes my cooking. Although, I didn't expect it would be a reaper." He says. After he says it, he covers his mouth, apparently regretting what he said. Ciel spits his tea out, and glares at Sebastian.

"Excuse me? What did you just call me?" I say, trying to hide my anger,but failing.

"Nothing Cat. I apologize." Sebastian says.

"NO! YOU CLEARLY SAID SOMETHING. NOW TELL ME WHAT YOU SAID!" I demand.

"He called you a reaper,dear. Why do you seem so insulted? It's what you are."Grell says,then he also gets a death glare from Ciel.

"WHAT?! Ciel, is there something you're not telling me?" I ask him,knowing he will tell me the truth. He gives me a sad look, then speaks up.

"Yes Cat. The truth is, you're a Shinigami. I found out yesterday. The reason why Sebastian got so mad is because he could sense that you are a reaper. I confronted him about it after you went upstairs,and he told me. I didn't want to tell you, because I knew you would be mad, and I thought you would hate yourself. I didn't want that to happen. I love you and I'd hate for you not to love yourself." He rants.

"Well, too late. I can't believe I'm one of them! No offense Grell." I say. I feel like I am going to cry. Then,Frisk speaks up.

"W-what about me?" She asks.

"Don't worry Frisk. You are a human." Sebastian tells her. She looks relieved.

"How is she human and I'm not?" I ask,confused.

"It seems that the reaper gene skips generations. While your mother was human, you are a reaper. You got that gene from her family. Frisk,however, got the human gene." Sebastian explains.

"That's not possible. I-I can't be a r-reaper." I say.

"Well, you are darling. I don't know why Undy hasn't told you." Grell says.

"He probably would have if it wasn't for the fact that she hasn't seen him in two days." Sebastian says,scoffing at Grell's stupidity. He says nothing in response. In a different situation, I would have laughed at Sebastian's comment,but not in these circumstances.

"So wait... You gave me artist's block for no reason?!" Frisk says. Alois bursts out into laughter and Ciel face palms.

"Oh my gosh Frisk! I just found out I'm a reaper and you're worried about your stupid artist's block!" I yell at her.

"I was just trying to lighten the mood. Jeez, someone's on shark week." Frisk says. I walk over to her and punch her shoulder. "I AM NOT!" I shout. Frisk brings her hand up to her shoulder.

"Oww." She pouts. I might have hit her too hard.

"Sorry." I apologize to her. "I didn't mean to hit you that hard." I say.


 "HOW DARE YOU HURT MY GIRLFRIEND!" Alois yells.

"Calm down Alois. It's okay. I'm fine." Frisk says. Suddenly,there is a knock on the door. Sebastian goes to open it while we all sit in here.

Then, from the other room, I hear Sebastian say something that makes my heart stop. "Hello Undertaker." I hear footsteps coming towards the room and I scoot closer to Ciel,and hide my face in my hands.
