Chapter 8

Cat's POV:

Suddenly, a dark aura surrounds Sebastian,and his eyes are glowing pink. 'So he is a demon then.' Alois and Frisk leave the room. I shudder, and lean in closer to Ciel, scared to death of what Sebastian might do to me. Ciel was staring at Sebastian,until I leaned in closer to him. He looks me in the eyes,and I know he can tell that I'm scared. He pulls me into a hug,then when he pulls away, he gives me a look saying 'Don't worry,I won't let Sebastian hurt you.'

"Alright Sebastian, we kissed. Are you happy now?" Ciel says. Instead of calming down, Sebastian looks more mad then he was before. I burry my head in Ciel's shoulder, not wanting to look at him. "Sebastian,stop that at once. Can't you tell you're scaring Cat?" Ciel says. I look up,tears in my eyes from silently crying in fear. Sebastian looks at me, and I turn back to Ciel.

"I'm sorry. I don't know what got into me. I guess I'm just hungry." Sebastian says,clearly meaning that he's hungry for Ciel's soul. Sebastian then leaves the room.

"Are you okay Cat?" Ciel asks me.

"N-no. I'm not. I-I'm going to go to bed, goodnight Ciel." I respond.

"Goodnight Cat. If you need anything, my room is a couple doors down the hall from yours." He says. I go upstairs and get ready for bed.

Frisk's POV:

"I have to go back to my manor, Frisk. You could come with me if you want." Alois offers.

"Thanks Alois,but I don't want to leave my sister." I respond.

"Okay. Goodbye then." He says.

"Goodbye Alois," I reply. He then leaves and I get ready for bed.

Ciel's POV:

After Cat goes upstairs, I go into the kitchen to talk to Sebastian. I walk up to clearly mad at him for scaring her. "Alright Sebastian, what the hell was that all about?!" I yell.

"I'm sorry Ciel,but I just got mad that you kissed one of her kind." He says,leaving me confused.

"What do you mean? She's a human, just like her mother. She told me that Undertaker said that her mother was a human." I say,still confused.

"No Bocchan. She's not human. She's a reaper just like Undertaker. I can sense it. Her sister is a human,but she is not. That gene must skip generations" Sebastian explains. I am shocked. So the girl I love is a grim reaper. The very thing she fears.

"Wait, if she's a reaper,then that means that she's immortal. That means that she will outlive her sister and me." I say,realization hitting me hard. "She's going to hate that when she finds out."

"Exactly,so we have to make sure she doesn't find out,so that she won't be heartbroken." Sebastian tells me. I nod in response,agreeing yet disagreeing with him. "Now come on Young Master. It is time for bed." I get ready for bed with Sebastian's help. Sebastian then leaves my room. I start to fall asleep,but then I hear a knock on my door.
