I sat in my room twirling the ring that niqo bought me around my finger. I stared at it. I hoped he kept his promise. I thought back to the moments we had just a few hours ago before he had to leave again. Man it kills me to see him go. I wish there was a way i could make him stay.....

Me:so mom whats next
Mom:well we have an interview in the morning,a photo shoot,and u have to record Say So so we can drop it friday
Me:mom can i get a break please..i just need some time off
Mom:noo we gotta make a move Boii we put too much effort and time into ur career now ur blowing up u cant take a break
Me: i guess ur right
I looked at my screensaver. Me and My baby. I just wish we didnt live so far apart from each other. I wish i could quit music. Sometimes i regret it but its my only way to make a good life for my family and my babygurl. I wanna be able to give her the world she been riding with me since i was 7 and we gon keep riding til we both get to heaven. I decided to call her before she goes to bed ik she has school in the morning.
(phone convo:
Me: Hey beautiful
AJ(her nickname): Hey Cutie
Me: u did all ur hw right
AJ: ofc i did
Me: good job baby
She blushed and then her smile went away. I felt something was wrong with her. Everything became awkward.
Me:Sweetheart..u ok❓
AJ:(looking down) yea im fine
Me:it doesnt seem like it..come on you can tell me anything you know that im always here for u
AJ:niqo its just sometimes i feel like i never get to see u. I see u for 5 hours then you leave i just wanna spend one day with you..facetiming is great but i want to feel you and be near u.
Me: hang on ( turns to talk to my mother) how much time before the plane takes off
Mom: in 2 hrs why
Me: Im going to see Ajanae again.. Mom i have to see her one more time just one more
Mom: fine ill call Larry(the driver)
Me:thanks
AJ: take the phone off mute 😐
Me: heyy baee umm... You got ready for bed yet❓
AJ: i have my pajamas on and im clearly in the bed so yes
Me: Just be outside in 20 minutes

I ran outside and hopped in the car. I told Larry to drive as fast as he could. I needed to see her again. I hated when she was hurt. It hurt me. Most off all it hurt our connection.i didnt need that type of pain rn and neither did she.
We arrived at her house and i banged on the door. She opened it and hugged me again. Her hugs always felt amazing. We walked upstairs and talked more.
Me: u wanna watch a movie
AJ: yea turn the light off and come over here
I turned on love and basketball and sat next to her as she slowly drifted asleep. When she was completely sleep i put the blanket over here and kissed her forehead.
