Chapter 7 - why im mindless

I froze. Tom froze. The man behind us chuckled and sneered
" think you were going to get away.. You piece of shit!" He yelled. He grabbed a fistful of my hair and forced me onto my feet. I yelped in plain, trying to fight back the tears.
He twisted my hair which forced my body to turn and my face to face his.
He had an ugly tanned face with a few missing teeth and pierced ears. His eyes were dead black and his breath stank. His long red hair was tied in a ponytail.
" that's funny," he began to snarl, " never seen you before. What are you..his girlfriend of something?"
I couldn't speak. I couldn't even breathe with his foul breath everywhere.
He scoffed and tossed me aside, causing me to hit the ground violently. My head went in first then the rest of me. I rolled on to my backside. I struggled to look up. There was gravel in my eyes and cuts on my face.
I managed to cry the rocks out of my eyes and I could see 3 men towering over me.
They were each wearing dirty navy blue tank tops, pierced ears and arms with the  tattoos of Eagles.
Oh shit.
One of them leaned over me with a smirk on his face. " not a bad body for a 14 year old." His partner grabbed me from my armpits and raised me up.
My body heat quickly rose.
" Hey !" I heard tom yell. The guy with the red pony tale rolled his neck and walked one step closer to him.
Tom shivered. I could see it. He was afraid. Very afraid. But he didn't run away.
Tom gulped. " l-leave the girl alone !" He ordered. " she had nothing to do with this damned mess!" Tom took one step back and slowly reached for something in his back left pocket.
Ponytail turned his head towards me and nodded. The guy grabbed my shirt and began to rip it.
I screamed. Ponytail turned his head back to tom.
" you Hobos are all the same," he spat." Always begging , always rapeing, always stealing. That's why you fled the town over to this one right?! You were scared of the police that you ran and practically bagged us to Take you in. But you ran and with our money and guns. Thought you could escape us?! I'll bring hell on you just like I bought hell on your family ! Your nothing but a sour old man with no life or anybody else. !" He raised hand into a fiat and charged at tom.
Dead silence was interrupted when tom screamed.
Not like a terrified woman , but more like a solider. He popped out a switchblade from his pocket and charged at ponytail. Surprised he didn't dodge it until tom gave him a big slash on his skin. Ponytail raised his leg and kicked tom to the ground. Tom groaned and clutched his stomach. He began coughing spits. Ponytail spat and squatted down next to the old man. He held  him by his collar and began yo punch him in the yes and once.
Again.
Again.
Again.
Again.
Again
And again.
The 3 men who were one me didn't care what was happening to their ring leader. They were only focused on me. My shirt was ripped from the top of my neck to middle of my torso. I struggled to get free. I kicked but one of them held my feet. I screamed for tom.
The man slapped me and reached for my bra and pulled on it. I squeezed my eyes shut.
Those 3 men began to laugh and stopped when the sound of sirens came. Red and blue flashy lights came into the park and the sound of gunfire filled the air. Ponytail ran but was hit. Tom continued to just lie there. The men instantly dropped me and I landed on my butt. They ran away. Some officers charged on after them, ordering them to stop.
I sat there sweating and covering myself. A woman with a badge rushed towards me. " are you okay ?!" She asked putting he hands on my shoulder. I shivered. My mind was blank and my vision blurry. My eyes were filled with tears and darkness as they began to close up.
" captain..over here!" She yelled , now holding me. " it's alright.." She cooed," you safe now..
My mind went into darkness.
