Chapter 9-Betrayal

Alexander: Hey you still coming over right...it's kind of urgent. Ivy thought about going"Jane can I go over his house he kind of said it was urgent", said Ivy with her head down. "....I guess...but of he tries to hurt you run and call me..", said Jane handing Ivy her phone number. Ivy thought to herself what if he tries to hurt.....why would he hurt me?, her thoughts were interuppted when Jane slammed on the brakes. Her headlights flashed on a extremely large monstorous creature, Ivy gasped. Jane hopped out the car "Jane what are you doing!!", Ivy said grabbing her hand. Jane pulled away, about 10 minutes later Ivy saw Jane yelling at the monster. Ivy looked down at phone and replied to Alexander.
Ivy:I'll be there shortly
Alexander:took you long enough to reply
Ivy:sorry was helping Mariah with homework.
Alexander:you want me to come and pick you up?
Ivy:no i'm fine
Alexander:......ok....see you soon
Ivy:ok
Jane walked back into the car "sorry about that". "Who was that?", asked Ivy curiously. "That was Rake",said Jane driving the car. "I'll drop you off at Alexander's house and take the kids to Mcdonald's.", said Jane. "Ok", said Ivy looking back at the kids. At about 8:00 Jane arrived at Alexander's house Ivy was about to get out the car when Jane called her name "remember if anything goes wrong call me ok?", said Jane looking concerned. "Ok I will, bye Mariah bye Alexis", said Ivy. The kids waved goodbye and Jane's car speed off. Ivy walked up to Alexander's door and rang the doorbell. He answered "hey about time", he smiled warmly. "Hey", Ivy said. "Something wrong?", he said confused. "Huh..no i'm fine", she said. "Hungry?", he said getting popcorn. "No", she said sitting down. "You need a Snickers", he said tossing her a candy bar. She laughed" why?". "Because your not you when your hungry", he said smiling. Ivy laughed but she wondered if he was so dangerous like everyone said he was...why isn't he trying to hurt me?, her thought were once again interrupted by the smell of pizza. Ivy walked into the kitchen"how come you were ingnoring me a few days ago?", she asked wondering why. "...Oh my head was hurting and I didn 't want to bother anyone with it", he responded looking down. Ivy thought that was a reasonable answer. Alexander took a pepperoni pizza out of the oven and cut her 2 slices. She sat on the couch and began to eat while Alexander cut on Evil Dead. Ivy took off her shoes and layed her feet on Alexander's lap. "Girl if you don't get them alligator stompers, Flintstone feet off me", he said tossing her feet aside. "And what you think type of feet you got...with them duck flippers you got", said Ivy pointing at his feet. "Girl WHAT ARE THOSE!!!", he said picking up her size 8 1/2 shoes. Ivy took the popcorn bowl and tossed popcorn at him. He stood up picked popcorn out his shirt, ate it, and walked upstairs. Ivy had to admit she was having a good time with him, but ever since she known what L.J and Jane told her she felt insecure about him. Alexander came back downstairs on the phone Ivy was watching the movie but she was secretly listening to his conversation. " I know....I know...don't worry she'll be one of us before July...yes i'm sure", and with that he hung up that phone. Who was he talking about when he said she'll be one of us....one of what?, she was thinking to herself when Alexander called her "Earth to Ivy...how's the movie?, he said waving his hands at her. "She looked over at him and said"very scary..i'm almost shaking in my boots", said Ivy sacastically while moving her feet. "Here we go again with them boat oars", he said looking at her toes. Ivy rolled her eyes at his joke and stood up to go to the bathroom. Ivy used the bathroom them stood up to wash her hands and splashed her face with water. She looked up to see someone starring back at her in the mirror. She didn't jump and didn't scream because L.J did it so many times she looked in the mirror as the figure starred back. The figure was a black misty figure to what almost looked like a menotar with all red eyes. Ivy saw that the figure had 7 mouths. Even though they never spoke she heard the words I am Zalgo, those were the last words she heard before blacking out.
