You're All That Matters

I've once heard someone say

Laying awake till the day,

"You're all that matters to me"

Is this what my destiny should be?

Running with heartache when you're so near?

Losing you, I'm filled with fear;

Following the rules of society,

I tried being what I wanted to be,

But society's got a hold on our lives

We're stuck in our rule filled beehives.

Your arms around me I wish,

With lives filled with bliss.

But not all of us have it all,

Missing your silhouette so tall;

Life isn't what we expect,

Tearing us apart without respect.
