Claude's POV:

I was going to kill her. I was going to punish (y/n) for insulting me. No matter what she was, she was a Trancy maid. She was to obey my orders, answer my questions without hesitation or secrecy, and most of all, she was to never make me the subisive one. Back in that room, she was the dominant one, and that could not be tolerated. Ever.

I was simply going to punish her for overstepping her boudaries. (y/n) was going to pay.

I had my suspicions as to what she was. No, suspicion is an understatment. I knew what she was. And punishing her was not going to be easy. Knowing her kind, she would put up a fight. There was even a good chance I would lose.

And that raven. He would most likely fight me as well. It was so obvious he was in love with her. I was surprised he had not marked her when she was still working at Phantomhive's manor.

Hm... The triplets and Hannah were no match for him. But (y/n) was. A plan formed in my mind. I smiled.

Sebastian's POV:

I was torn in two. (y/n) had just left me. Just like that. I felt as if part of my non-existant soul had gone off into the sky with her. Why had she left me? Why would she do this? When we fought, she just surrendered. That was not like a dragon. So she did have feelings for me, but... if she did, why did she leave? There had to be a reason for that.

Claude. It had to be. That damn spider had probably tried to make a move on her, and had forced her to submit to him. And she escaped so he would not be the one to take her - her -

I fell to my knees. I had taken one of the most precious things of hers. (y/n). I did not even acknowledge that fact. No. Maybe Claude had nothing to do with this. It was all me. She opened her heart to me, and I unwittingly pushed it away when I did not give her the respect she deserved.

Dammit. I had to push the blame off myself, or I would go crazy. I settled on my first hypothesis. Claude. It was more reasonable, after all...

My eyes fell upon a piece of paper at my feet. I picked it up and read it quickly.

Go back to Phantomhive? Why would I do that? Yes, his soul was still rather appealing, worth fighting for, but not compaired to (y/n). She said it was her dying wish, however. So...?

I gritted my teeth. Claude. He was going to kill her. She wanted me to go back to Ciel so I was restrained from killing him. Well, I wouldn't do it.

That didnt mean I shouldn't.

I sighed.

'Fine, (y/n). You win. I'll go back to Ciel. But right after, I find you.'

*time skip*

I was flying through the chilly air, wind biting my face the the snow almost blinding my vision. But I did not waver. Ciel was on my back, our contract reformed, and his first order was for me to find (y/n). As if I needed to be ordered to.

I arived at the Trancy manor in record time. Nobody wasin the house; I could sense all of the beings were outside. Good. Outside was a better battleground.

I jumped over the house.

I went to the garden.

I was flying to Claude.

But I didn't get there in time.

The demon sword was out of its sheath, and I watched in horror as it flew through (y/n)'s chest.
