"I will take your suitcase and put it in the office for now" Cameron said, as he walked over.
"Thanks!"
"No problem" Smiled Cameron, as he dragged her suitcase to the office.
"Want to see my horse?" smiled Abby
"And mine!" Interrupted Lucy
"Sure" Giggled Maisy
Abby led them towards her horse's stall. She pointed to a beautiful strawberry roan. "This here is my horse Sugar"
"Wow she is so pretty" said Maisy, as she walked up to her, stroking her mane.
"Yeah I know" laughed Abby.
"And this here is Flower" Rudely interrupted Lucy, standing next to her brown and white overo horse.
Abby waddled up to Flower, smiling "She is lovely too"
"Thank you"
"Hey, you want to go on a Hack with me and Lucy?" Asked Abby, whilst she strolled up to Maisy.
"Yeah sure, that will be awesome!"
"Ok, let's go get the horses tack" Abby sped to a large room full of colourful saddle pads and posh saddles, whilst the others followed behind.
"Ok, there are saddle racks up against the wall and they all should say what horse they belong to"
"OK" said Maisy. She walked along reading all the horses names in till she found the name Billy. Maisy finally found Billy's tack, she grabbed the light blue saddle pad and the black saddle; then slipped the bridle onto her shoulder. Maisy strolled out of the tack room, heading to Billy's stall. "Hey big boy" laughed Maisy; stroking him down the muzzle. She slid the stable door open and walked in, placing his tack on the stable door, whilst closing it. Maisy grabbed the bridle and placed the reins over his head, then placing his bit into his mouth; sliding the browband and headpiece over his ears. Then buckling up the throat lash.
A tall ginger girl walked past his stall "Oh here is the new girl, another crappy rider I suppose; why can't anyone be as good as me here?"
"Don't worry about her" spoke Lucy
"You startled me!" laughed Maisy
"Oh sorry"
"So, what's her problem?"
"Oh nothing, she just thinks she is always better than everyone else. Don't listen to her"
"Who is she then?"
"Just Lindy, but no need to bother with her"
"Oh ok" said Maisy, as she softly placed the saddle pad onto Billy's back.
"Well call me once you're done saddling up" replied Lucy, as she walked off.
"Will do" Maisy picked up the saddle and placed it on; she grabbed the girth and tightened it up. "Alright I'm all ready to go" Maisy opened up the stall and led Billy out. Abby and Lucy strolled towards Maisy, leading their horses.
"Ok, are we all ready to go?" said Abby
"Yep" replied Maisy. They all guided their horses out of the barn; towards the trails. Abby, Lucy and Maisy pulled down their stirrups and mounted up.
"Are you guys up for a race, when we reach the fields?" asked Maisy
"What, like galloping?" replied Lucy
"Yeah"
"I have never galloped before"
"Oh right, don't worry, it's just like a fast canter, but in jockey position" said Maisy "You know how to do jockey position right?"
"Yeah I do, I guess I will be fine" smiled Lucy
"Well I'm up for it, if you guys are" giggled Abby
"I am" said Maisy
"I guess I am too then" spoke Lucy. Abby kicked Sugar on; leading the way down the trail. Lucy nudged on Flower and followed. Without command; Billy followed behind flower, walking down the trail. Abby pushed Sugar into a canter, jumping over a small log on the ground. Lucy and Maisy followed behind; jumping the log. "Wow, Billy is just amazing" grinned Maisy.
They all finally reach the large field. "Are you guys ready?" Said Abby
"I think so" nervously replied Lucy
"I am more than ready" Maisy said excitedly. Abby kicked as hard as she could and soon started galloping up the field. Flower followed behind, catching up. Maisy nudged Billy into a gallop and raced up ahead. "Whoa!" shouted Lucy "Flower is one fast horse!"
"YEEEEEHAAAAAAA" Shouted Abby. Maisy slowed down, as they reached to the top, whilst Abby circled Sugar to slow down. "Lucy you need to slow down!" yelled Abby. Flower suddenly stopped and Lucy flew over head; screaming. "Oh no!" shouted Maisy. Lucy plonked on the grass. Abby dismounted and sped over to Lucy "Are you ok?"
"Yep, I'm ok" giggled Lucy, as she picked herself up "I have had much worst falls than this"
"I'm glad you're ok" smiled Maisy
Abby mounted back onto Sugar and grabbed flower, leading her to Lucy. "We better get heading back"
"Yeah" replied Lucy, mounting back on Flower.
They finally arrived back at the barn, walking their horses into the stables. They all mounted off and led their horse back into their stall. "That was so fun!" approved Maisy.
"Yeah I know right, it was the best gallop I have ever had" clarified Abby.
"It was fun, even though I fell off" Laughed Lucy. They all giggled. The girls all untacked their horse and headed into the tack room, placing their tack in the right places. Cameron strolled towards Maisy. "I have put your suitcase in your cabin, you will be sharing with Abby and Lucy, they will show you where to go" smiled Cameron
"Yay!" gasped Maisy "I am with you guys!"
"I'm so glad!" Smiled Abby. They all, headed back to the cabin; skipping down the barn.
