Chapter 1

Cassie's POV

Ring ring ring

"Ugh!" I groan before pushing the off button on my alarm clock

"Sweetie hurry up, don't wanna be late" I hear my mother scream as I slowly get up and all I can respond with is a groan

I headed to the bathroom, putting on some make-up and I combed my hair, letting stay loose today. I finish changing into my jeans and a top.

I get to my kitchen and start cookie eggs, this gonna be a long day. I sigh as my mother and father walk in.
"Hey sweetie remember to stop by the vet today yo pick up coco's medicine" my mother reminds me that I am my dogs personal slave.

"I will mom, love you. Come on dad lets go" I say and got into my dad's car.

"Excited for the first day?" He asks

"Not really, I am tired, friendless and well I hate school" I reply honestly

"How can you hate school and yet be incredibly smart?" He asks laughing

"That is still a mystery, oh and remember that I have soccer tryouts after school today so I will call you when to pick me up" I slowly exit the cat taking in my surroundings.

It's a nice place, lots of students but really cool building.

"You must be Ms. Andrews, Cassandra right?" The secretary asks

"Yeah that's me, but just call me Cassie" I smile and she hands me a paper with list of all these AP courses. Some are even senior classes. Not to toot my horn, but I am pretty smart...like really smart. I am taking two senior classes and 1 junior class as a sophomore. The rest are sophomore requirements.

"Have a good first day and remember go cyclones" I just nodded and walked into the sea of students.

I found my locker and opening it and stuffing my gym bag in it, struggling since it was so damn small. I finally got it in, when I let go it all just fell on the floor clothes scattering everywhere. I just groaned and bent down picking up the clothes.

"Here you dropped this" the random stranger says awkwardly scratching the back of his neck as he handed me my sports bra

"Um thanks" I smiled a turned back around adding my books to my locker.

"First day? Don't worry I was worst last year" he said and I turned around, raising an eyebrow. "I swear, I had soccer tryouts and I forgot to bring shorts. It was so embarrassing" he laughed and I couldn't help but laugh at all. Who is this mystery man?

"Cassie" I extend my hand introducing myself

"Liam" we shook hands and I couldn't help but stare into his blue eyes. "So you going to soccer tryouts next week?"

"Yeah, you?" I ask

"You bet, just coach might be mad, I play lacrosse so he might chew me out. But what can I say I love soccer" he smiles and I smile back

"I got to get to class, first day can't be late" I close my lockers sling my book bag over my shoulder and walk away

"See ya Cass"  he waves

"See ya...." Oh God I forgot his name already

"Liam" he finished and I blushed. Liam
