"Okay, so we'll go east, staying towards the coast line, up to Port Chester." I said, pointing my words on the map in front of us.
"Why Port Chester?" Marcus asked.
"I've got people there. If they aren't washed yet, they'll help." I said.
"How do you have connection everywhere?" Trey asked.
"My parents were CIA." I said, pulling my gun out of my pocket to check the rounds. "I've got connections all over the country."
"Were?" Lucas asked.
I stopped what I was doing.
"They died in action a year ago." I said, continuing to check my rounds. "I've been on my own basically my whole life. After that, it was just official."
"How did they-" Marcus started to ask, but I cut him off.
"Just drop it, okay?" I snapped.
Everyone was shocked, except for the girls. They know how I am when it comes to my parents.
"So, how long is it gonna take to get there?" Trey asked, breaking the tension.
"By foot?" I said. "It's hard to tell. It depends on how long we walk, and how far. I'd say about three days tops.
"Okay." Lucas said, clapping his hands. "Let's do this."

"345 bottles of beer on the wall," Trey sang for the 27th time. No jokes. He had sang from 100 down 27 times!
"God, you people make me want to drink." I groaned. "I was in a hurry. I didn't have time to grab my good bottle of Jack Daniels."
"Take one down, pass it around. 339 bottles of beer on the wall," He continued.
"Okay." Cam shouted. "Let's try a new game! It's called let's find a new fucking song!"
"I second that!" I said.
I took one of the hair ties from my wrist, and pulled up my long brown hair.
"Hey." Lucas asked. "Ky, what's that on the back of your neck?"
"It's a tattoo." I said. All of the guys turned around. "I got a tally mark for every time I got the highest rank in a new martial art."
"But," Marcus said. "There's...13 marks."
"That's right, comrade." I said. "That's 13 different ways I can kick your ass."
"Alright." Jill stopped me before I could do anything. "Let's talk about something else."
"How much longer until we're stopping?" Cam asked.
"Once I find a hotel that's far away enough from major cities, we'll stop." I said. "The washing is probably effecting the larger cities first, impacting the larger part of the population. I mean, that's what I would do if Ii was trying to take over the world."
The guys gaped at me.
"How long have you been making a plan?" Lucas gaped.
"Um...Just now?" I said, uncertain of what he was implying.
"Dude..." Marcus said. "You're a fucking genius!"
I kicked him in the ribs. Hard.
Hearing him groan, I smirked in satisfaction. I walked off, still smirking.
As I was walking off, I called back to him: "Don't ever call me dude!"
"Nice to know." Marcus gasped out.
