Back Up Dancer

Abigail's pov

When I was dancing, I put all my emotion into it. Remembering everything that had happened to me in the past years. How I had to go through my parents divorce, all the dance schools that I ever auditioned for telling me that I wasn't good enough.
I finished with my dance and the room broke into complete silence and then a bursting applause. I bowed down before the judges and quickly returned to my spot that I had been sitting at.
The judges then told everybody to go to the waiting room until they made their decision. I decided to go to the vending machine in the while that I was waiting. I put in the $1 bill and got out my apple flavored Apple. As I was walking back to the waiting room the girl that had insulted me before got in my way. She pushed me to the ground and said that the judges would never pick me as their backup dancer. Her words stung me like a million bees at once. I wasn't going to let her bad attitude put me in a bad mood so I quickly got up and made my way back into the waiting room.
I had been sitting in the waiting room for what felt like hours which according to my phone was only 10 minutes. My palms were sweaty and I felt butterflies in my stomach. I was about to have a nervous breakdown when the judges called everybody back to the dancing studio. "After watching all your marvelous performances, we have made our decision and the young lady that will be the new backup dancer on the CNCO tour is....... Abigail Gallardo." I almost burst into tears hearing my name being called out, I finally could have a chance at being a professional dancer. As I was walking up to get my fill out information sheet, I quickly stuck my tongue out at the mean girl just for a little revenge on what she had said to me earlier. I grabbed the paper and my way to sit next tot the boys. All of the boys were smiling with delight, since we had already made a good friendship bond. I looked around me thinking that it was a dream, I was the new backup dancer of the band CNCO.

Sorry, that I haven't posted in weeks. I have been busy with school and dance classes. I promise that I will post either tomorrow or Wednesday.🙂🙂🙂
