Chapter 5

Chapter 5!!! I don't really have anything to say but COMMENT!!! That's it.

     When I pulled into the driveway after school and parked the car I got out and was quickly aware of the dangerously hot temperature. I groaned and Ashira and I sprinted to the house. I ran right to the back door and let the boys inside. Ashira had homework so I decided to go swimming. I ran up to my bedroom and changed into my black swim trunks. I slid down the banister and almost fell at the end but I caught myself. I went to the patio door and Fang followed me out. I tried to get Dagger to come with us but he wanted to stay with Ashira. I swear that dog likes her better than me! I walked over to our gigantic pool and sat in my awesome chair. It was held up in the air by a metal rod that also held a canopy over my head. I sat down and closed my eyes, relaxing. But after ten minutes my peace was disturbed.

     "Ashton! Call off the dog!" I heard a male's voice yell. How dare he disturb me!

     "Bad dog! Don't bite! Ashton help!" I suddenly recognised Jace's voice. Oh, no Fang! You are not sinking your teeth into my sexy Jace!

     "Fang!" I yelled. In mear seconds he was at my side, sitting and looking into my eyes.

     "Thank you. I thought he was going to eat me for a second there." I heard Jace say. I looked up at him. Bad idea! Jace was walking towards me in dark red swim trunks. Nothing else! Damn, I was right, his body is epically sexy.

     "Oh, uh, no problem Jace." I said, trying not to ogle his body.

     "May I join you?" Jace asked, stopping in front of me.

     "Yea. Sure. How did you get here?" I asked. Nice one Ashton. That was a dumb question.

     "Well, I saw you sitting in your chair and thought it would be fun to scare you. So I went and got my trunks on and then hopped the fence. My plan would've worked if your demon dog here wouldn't have attacked me." Jace explained.

     "Oh, okay then." I said, looking at Fang so that I wouldn't stare at Jace's body.

     "Shall we swim?" Jace asked in a crappy British accent.

     "We shall." I replied in my own crappy British accent.

     Jace gave me a huge grin and jumped in the pool. I released Fang and jumped in after him. Fang, not wanting to miss out on the fun, jumped in as well. We swam around for a while before I got tired so I went and sat on the side of the pool, my legs hanging in the water. Jace saw this and hoisted himself up next to me. I couldn't help but notice his muscles contract as he pulled himself up onto the edge. We talked for a while before slowly ending the conversation and ended up just looking at each other. Suddenly Jace leaned in and brushed his lips against mine. I was startled, but who am I to stop him? Jace leaned in again and pressed him lips against mine. I quickly kissed back, our lips moving rhythmically with one another. I pulled away to breath and Jace placed kisses along my jaw and down my neck. He stopped at the base of my neck and bit down on the skin. I shuddered and Jace pulled back grinning like a fool at me.

     "W-What are you doing?" I asked.

     "Just marking my territory." He replied with a wink. Then he got up and walked across my lawn and lept over the fence.

     "Did he just... No he couldn't have... He's not... Ashira!" I yelled, jumping up from my sitting position and running into the house.

     "Ashira, Ashira, Ashira!" I yelled all the way up the stairs and into her bedroom.
