Chapter 6. Wow, this story is far already!

"What?" I asked, taking a drink of my milk.
"Who is that?" She asked.
"You going to specify?" I asked.
"That hot boy in the guest bedroom." She said in a 'duh' tone, rolling her eyes.
"You already met him, smart one. Remember? Jayzon, our backdoor neighbor." I said, motioning my hand in a 'you can do it' fashion.
"Oh my god! What is he doing in our house?" She asked.
"His house is flooded so I told Jace and Jayzon they could stay here." I replied.
"When were you going to tell me this important piece of information?" She asked.
"When I saw you." I replied.
"Whatever. I'm going out with Nyssa." She said, walking to the door.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"To the mall." She responded.
"K, be home by ten!" I called as she walked out the door.
I heard the door slam in a response and scoffed as I went into the living room. I sat down on the couch, the black one, not the white one. Mom would have my butt if I spilled my chocolate milk on her white couch. I turned on the TV and watched for a second before I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I turned around quickly, not wanting to be surprised by Jace. Yet I managed to spill my milk on myself and the couch in the process. Fantastic! Did you get the sarcasm in that?
"Great." I mumbled to myself. I knew I made the right choice by sitting on the black couch.
"Wow, klutzy much?" I looked up to see Jayzon smirking at me.
"Well, thanks for offering to help clean up. I appreciate it." I said, sarcasm dripping from my tone of voice.
"Okay, okay. Calm down, I'll get a towel." He said, still chuckling.
My eyes followed him as he walked over to the kitchen and searched the drawers before finally pulling out a towel. He put it on his shoulder before grabbing a cup from the cabinet and filled it with water. Then he grabbed the bottle of dish soap off the sink and walked back over to me. He dipped the rag into the water and then poured dish soap onto it. He began rubbing at the couch and soon the milk was all out of the couch. Then he handed me the rag.
"Clean yourself up." He instructed. I took the rag and began rubbing at my pants. When the stain was out I got up and put the towel in the laundry.
"Thanks."
"No problem. Jace probably would've got mad if I didn't help his boyfriend when he asked." Jayzon replied.
"How do you know that?" I asked.
"We tell each other everything." He said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Huh, glad it's not just me and Ashira." I muttered.
"Huh?" He asked.
"Wa, oh, nothing." I said.
