72. MY HALSEY CONCERT EXPERIENCE

LAST NIGHT WAS AMAZING

so usually shows at the venue i went to start at 8, but halsey ended up coming on a little bit before 9

the doors opened a little bit before seven, and there's no seating in the venue so you have to get in line early

i thought going in line at 5 would be ok but the line was wrapped around the block 😭 bUT LUCKILY my friends that i went with had a friend that we cut in line with

right when you walk into the venue, it's literally every man for them self. my friends and i pushed our way as close as we possibly could to the front, and i'd say i ended up in about row 8 or 9 so i was pretty close!

the shitty part was waiting in line for an hour and in the venue pressed against random sweaty strangers for two hours

there was supposed to be a dj as an opening act but no one showed up so we ended up listening to adele and drake (if you saw my snapchats)

but hoLY SHIT

that moment when they dim the fucking lights and the pianist and drummer are getting ready was so amazing

gasoline started playing and the whole venue went crazy and everyone kept pushing to get closer to the front

when she came out i actually cried

she sang most of the songs off of badlands, except for coming down and i walk the line

i posted a video on instagram and a lot on snapchat so add me if you wanna see! (they expire tonight so hurry!!!)

the whole night i had the chills. seeing her in person for the first time fucked me up so bad

i also bought merch which wasn't too expensive! the original plan was to stay after the show to meet her but security kicked us out but somehow a few people stayed until midnight and met her :-(

i'm okay with not meeting her because going to her concert was probably the greatest thing i have ever experienced so far

at one point she came really close to us and it was really intimate and just so amazing. i can't even describe the feeling i had every time i looked at her.
