((I apologise if I don't get the character's personalities right. I suck at personalities and I can't life at all. Please forgive me >n<

(h/c) - Hair Color
(s/t) - Skin Tone
(y/n) - Your Name))It's a beautiful day outside. Birds are singing, flowers are blooming. On days like these, kids like you...are playing outside at the park. Your parents sat on the bench nearby while they watched you run about happily, squealing in delight as you played with a few other kids. Your (h/c) hair was tied back in a cute ponytail, bobbing as you ran about and your short little (s/t) legs were working hard as they carried your little five year old body to and fro. It was a gorgeous time...and one of the few that you will remember forever.
Years passed, and you were now a mature young adult. You weren't old enough to move out yet, but a couple more years and you would be out on your own. You were currently out in town, walking home from the store because your parents had sent you to pick up some groceries while they fixed the house up a little. Your mother's boss was coming over for dinner tonight and they wanted to make a good impression. It was rather late, in that time of the evening when the sunlight hardly existed anymore and the streetlights were turning on swiftly. You were a little paranoid, but you simply shrugged it off and kept moving along, carrying the bags easily as you stepped along the empty street. At least....you thought it was empty.
It's a beautiful night outside. Owls are whooting, your legs are aching. On night's like this, teenage girls like you...are being snatched from the sidewalk. A hand shoots over your mouth as you pass an alley and you get dragged into the shadows, letting out a muffled scream as the bags fell to the ground with a thud. You were shoved against a wall, and your eyes met with a boy's malicious gaze. Two other boys walked out behind him, and you noticed they all three looked around your age. "Lookie here, boyos! It's little miss (Y/n), the girl we were looking for. Must be our luck." The one who had you pinned said to his comrades, his thick Irish accent sounding familiar. The other two just chuckled darkly, one holding a metal bat and the other holding a crow bar. The one who had you pinned leaned in close to your ear. "Remember me, lassy? I don't think you do...I'm the lad you turned down last week. Remember now? Remember my name?"
Your eyes widened a little. He took his hand away from your mouth, now placing it on your cheek tenderly.
"...Benjamin Barker..." You whispered in shock. You couldn't believe it. Benjamin seemed so sweet at school. The only reason you declined him when he asked you out was because you didn't want to date anyone at the moment what with exams coming up. But apparently he didn't like being rejected. Cute little Benji was now attacking you in an alleyway with two of his buddies. Your words seemed to snap Benjamin back into the moment, for a sick grin spread on his face and he leaned back, a twisted look in his eye.
"BENJAMIN BARKER!" He laughed, reeling a fist back to score you right in the eye. But something came flying out of nowhere, hitting him in the back of the head harshly. He exclaimed in pain, looking over his shoulder to see what was going on. Almost immediately, his buddies fell to the ground, seeming to be hit by nothing. You watched in silence, shaking in fear as a figure emerged from deeper in the alley. You couldn't see much for Benjamin had you pinned still, but you did see that the figure had brown hair and something like orange goggles on its face. But that was all you saw before things began to escalate.
The figure jumped at one of the boys who were getting up, landing on his back and planting a tomahawk in his skull. You gasped, watching as the street was painted red with his blood and he quit moving. Benjamin let you go, turning entirely to face the attacker, but you didn't run. Couldn't run. You were frozen in fear, squeezing your eyes shut as you slid to the ground in a shaking mass, curling up into a ball. You weren't sure how long it was until things went silent, the screams of the boys and the sound of flesh tearing and bones snapping echoing in your head. You kept your eyes shut, hearing nothing now except the light patter of feet approaching you, which just made you shake more.
The patter stopped, and you slowly peeked an eye open in hopes the person was gone. You were wrong. Right in front of you, a boy with brown hair was crouched to your eye level, a mouth guard covering half his face and blood droplettes smudging his orange eyewear. You shook even more, staring at the boy in silence. Slowly, he offered a hand out to you. You could have sworn you saw a smile behind his coverage, and he titled his head a little. "It's a-alright. I'm not g-gonna hu-urt you." He said in a low voice. If he didn't stutter, you would have assumed otherwise. The boy twitched a little, popping his neck as you glanced at his hand then back at him. Slowly, and almost reluctantly, you took it, unsure as to why you were trusting the person who was responsible for the three corpses now decorating the alleyway.
The boy helped you up, seeming friendly now, which you didn't entirely understand. "I-I'm Toby." He said. You gulped, trying to regain your voice. "I-I'm (Y/n)." You manage to get out. Wait...you just gave your freaking name to a murderer. WHAT WAS WRONG WITH YOU, YOU FOOLISH PERSON?!?
Toby seemed to smile again, his head tilting to the side a little as he spoke. "N-nice to m-meet you, (Y/n). I hope you're o-okay. No o-one should-d b-be bullied." He glanced at Benjamin's bleeding corpse, holding back a scowl before he looked back at you. "I h-hope we meet again, (Y/n)."
And with that, Toby was gone, leaving you to stand there, speechless and confused. You looked to your hand, the one he had taken in his own, and squeaked a small, choked noise of horror as you stared at it with eyes the size of plates. Your hand was now covered in blood.
((Don't hate me if this sucks! I'm sorry! ×n×
