"Sam!" I ran to the back of the dark alley, barely able to see where I was going. Sam was bloody all over, the cuts on his arms being most of the problem.
"Are you okay? What happened?"
"She t-turned. I followed her here and watched her walk off with a body. I tried to shoot her but she got to me before I could." I aided his wounds the best I could and got him standing. We started walking towards where Dean and Cas were. I immediately stopped when I heard a growl from above. Patricia jumped down from a fire escape, knocking both of us over. I crawled away trying to get away, when she attacked Sam. She slashed her claws towards him, and he backed away from her as best he could.
I ran over and jumped on her back, distracting her from Sam. She tried to throw me off, but failed. I finally fell off after much struggle and was thrown to the ground. The werewolf stratched my arms and legs as I tried to crawl away from her. I crawled back and eventually ran into a wall. I sat motionless, watching the attacker come closer. It was exactly how I had met the Winchesters.
She came closer and closer with each second that passed, with me still sitting against the wall. I waited for my fate to come, trying to think of last words to say to the men that changed my life. Patricia stratched again at me, leaving cuts across my shin. I squealed in pain, knowing it would only get worse. I closed my eyes ready to be taken from this world. I felt her getting ready for the kill.
"Touch her again and I'll kick your ass," Sam called, holding up a gun aimed straight for Patricia's head. My eyes opened wide looking at the expression on the werewolf's face. She was surprised at the outburst, but also angry at the interruption. She turned towards Sam, growling, which gave me the chance to crawl away without her noticing. I made my way towards Dean and ran to the other end of the alley, away from the monster.
My heart pounded watching Sam stand with only a gun to protect him. I started towards him, but was pulled back by two pairs of strong arms.
"Let him take care of this himself," Dean said gently, letting go of his grip on me. I watched the werewolf move towards Sam, but he took no hesitation to shoot. Blood splattered on the ground beneath the girl, as she fell to the ground, dead. I looked to Sam, who stood frozen to his spot. I ran over to him, wrapping my arms around his torso. He returned the action, engulfing me in a hug. Everyone was silent, letting the sweet moment continue for as long as it could.
"I love you," Sam whispered in my ear. I wasn't surprised that he said the big three words. I smiled and looked up at him staring straight into his eyes.
"I love you too." He hugged me tighter and led me towards Dean and Cas. We all walked to the Impala and drove back to the motel. By the time we got there, Sam had fallen asleep on my shoulder in the backseat.
"Wake up, we're here." I nudged him, trying to wake him up. He fluttered his eyes open and looked at me.
"Oh I'm sorry I guess I was just tired."
"It's fine. Go on in and go to sleep, I'll be in there in a little while." He nodded and walked into the room along with Dean and Cas. I sat on the back of the Impala thinking about the events from the past couple of months. I liked being with the Winchesters, but I knew my life could never return to what it was. While distracted by my thoughts, a black smoke snuck around the vehicle and into my body. Something else was in my body with me, and I knew exactly what it was. I tried to fight it, but it was useless. I couldn't control what was happening to my body, so I had no way of warning Sam, Dean, or Cas about the danger they were in. I entered the motel room and got into bed, falling right asleep. My only thought was what the demon was planning on doing to the men who protected me.
