Save My Soul ( A Mindless Behavior Love Story)

~Chapter 1~

"AND 5 6 7 8!!" . As soon as the coach yelled I started to move across the floor. I was in the zone and executed the steps I was just taught for the center floor work combination.

Before I knew it I was done with the 24 count combination. I packed up, said goodbye to my coach and friends, and started walking home. As I exited the door I put in my skull candy ear buds and blasted Attica 71 by Oliver the Kid.

I smiled to myself thinking of the work I got done today in the studio. As I always say, DANCE IS LIFE. As soon as I graduate I'm going to college to study to be a professional dancer. I get exited at the thought of this.

Before I knew it I was walking up the steps of my house. I pulled out my keys, unlocked the door, and went in. A little gray and white fur ball came trotting towards me as I closed and locked the door.

"Hi princess!" I said happily as I picked her up and held her.

"How's my pretty baby?"

I put her down and went into my room to get undress and take a shower. I put down my bags and undressed and got my fresh clothes and toiletries together.

I walked into the bathroom and set my clothes down on the counter. I stood in front my mirror and started to tie my hair up.

"Your so ugly!"

I suddenly stopped...

"Your face makes me sick!"

My eyes started to water and I bit my lip in attempt to keep them from falling.

"You'll never be beautiful and no man will ever love you"

The voices in my head....they're my worst enemy. Maybe this hot shower will help me relax and make them stop.

I turned on the steaming hot water and let it attack my body. I grabbed my towel and my body wash and started to scrub. A tear slowly slid down each of my cheeks...

Why can't I be beautiful???
