~Chapter 4~

~Friday~

Thank the good lord its Friday! I always look forward to the weekend because I get to stay at home and chill like ice.

Over the last couple of days, Me and Ray have gotten to know each other very well. For some reason, he's very easy to talk to. He's hilarious like this boy always has me in tears. He's also just as sweet as he looks.

I've never been this intrigued with a guy before. I've always tried to keep to myself when it came to boys. Not only are they jerks, but also liars and fuck boys.

Right now me and ray are sitting in our booth at lunch. I was busy dieing of laughter because ray was trying to spot bars but they were awful.

"Omg ray just stop I can't breathe!."

"Girl you know you I got bars stop playin."

"Boy Dr. Seuss had more bars than you."

He put his hand over his heart acting as if he was taken aback by what I said.

"Well that was hurtful.."

"Awwww I'm sorry...not".

He laughed at me. I find it kinda easy to be myself around him. But then again hasn't seen ALL my forms.

"So..." He said indicating that he had something to say to me.

"Hopefully I'm not wrong for asking this but....would you...maybe like to hang out..some time?".

He was looking down playing with his fingers. I found this extremely cute. But overall I was in disbelief.

"Really?".

"Well..yes..I like talking to you. And I would like to spend more time with you other than in school. Maybe we could go get some ice cream or some pizza or something...".

I was frozen in shock. No guy has ever asked me to do anything like that. I do it all the time with my girlfriends but...this would be different. I forced myself back to reality before he thought I died.

"Wow..um..sure I'd love to." I said with a shy tone.

"Great I cant wait! I mean...*clears throat* um cool lol..but why do you sound so surprise?".

"Well...a guy has never asked me that before..". I looked down in embarrassment.

"Well obviously these niggas don't see the beauty I see". He put his hand over mine on the table, giving me a warm feeling. I blushed.

"Oh stop it you sound ridiculous".

"Lol well....how about this weekend? Are you free?".

"Yes definitely I just mostly chill on the weekends".

"Great so we'll talk about the detail tonight..I'll call you OK?".

I was smiling like chester Cheeto at this point. "OK cool".

The bell rang for class and we got up and left out the cafeteria. I don't think I've ever been so happy to have plans with someone.

The rest little rest of the day I had left went by quick. I walked to my locker and got my backpack, then headed out the doors to my car.

I quickly got home and took my daily after school shower.

I couldn't stop thinking about the conversation me and ray had earlier. I was so exited for us to hang out!

I'm not gonna lie,even though its only been a few days, I really like ray. He's such a sweetheart and I love talking to him. Its too bad I'm ugly...maybe he would have liked me more. But I'm thankful for him being a friend.

I was sitting on my bed watching Law and Order SVU, when I heard my phone ring. I picked it up and saw Ray2wice on the caller ID. I smiled as I saw it...but I also got a little nervous.

I always got a little nervous when I talk to him because I always think I'll say something stupid to make him not like me.

I slide the green button to the side. "Hello?", I said with a good amount of excitement in my voice.

"Hey pretty girl". His voice was so deep. The vibration of his bass sent chills down my spine. What made me smile even more was I could tell he was smiling when he said that.

"Wassup two braids?".

"Nun much, just tryna think of where we should go to hang out."

"Well what did you have in mind?."

"Well since I know you like coffee and sweets, I was thinking we could go to this comfy little cafe".

I put my hand over my heart. Its so sweet he remembered.

"Awww really?, I wud love that that's so sweet!".

"Not as sweet as you pretty girl".

He must want me to die....

"Stop that before I starts blushing!".

"That just means I'm doing my job well."

"Oh really? And what other jobs do you have?".

"Lol well..my other job is to bring pleasure to the pretty ladies with my rattlesnake but you don't know nun bout that."

...No this nigga didn't....

"If by rattlesnake you mean that tic tac in your pants then sure I'm pretty sure all the ladies love it."

There was a pause. I thought he hung up at first but I heard the wind coming in and going out of those big ass tunnels he calls nostril's.

"Girl don't try me. I will take you to another dimension and drive you crazy..".

The tone of his voice....the way the words slide down his tongue and rolled off his lips...it made me tingle. I was quiet for a minute...

"I suggest you not try me remember I am a Scorpio."

Our phone conversation went on almost all night. We were up till 3 in the morning talking about any and everything. I've never talked to any one let alone a guy like this.

We were like open books...reading each other...
