Chapter eleven

Dan POV:
It was midnight and I couldn't stop thinking about Katy,she was the perfect girl for me,of course she had some problems but she got over it. I decided to walk around LA.

It was dark and I was walking in an alley way still thinking of Katy,I saw a shadow in front of me. I looked up and saw a guy with a gun,"bye bye."he said then black out.

Katy POV:
I woke up because my phone was ringing,it was Phil.

K: hello (yawns)

P: Katy,you need to come to the hospital!!

K: why?

P: OK be prepared..... Dan got shot...

K: What!!!how???

P: he was walking down an alley until some guy shot him.

K: oh my god, I'm on my way.

I hung up and start to cry,"who would do this to him!"I said I start putting my cardigan and my pair of slippers then start running out of my apartment.

I got to the hospital almost running out breath,I saw Phil on a chair with his head down,"PHIL!!"I called he looked up while I ran to him,I hugged him and he hugged me back. I couldn't hold it in so I cried in his chest,"wh.....why would th-they do that Phil?"I ask while crying,"I don't know Katy,but I feel your pain."he told me,he hold me tighter which I did too.

We sat next together in the waiting room,"Daniel Howell."they called,me and Phil got up and walked towards the nurse,"how is he doing Ma'am?"I ask,"he is doing well,his heart is beating fine,and everything is OK.... Accept he is in a coma."she said,"then why did you say everything is OK if he is in a coma."I said a little angry,"I'm sorry Ma'am but he is in a coma and the doctors don't know when is he going to get out of it." She added,"is there any chance we can see him?"Phil ask,"of course,he can hear you,but he can't see yoy."she told us the number of Dan's room and we just start running.

Once we got there I saw Dan lifeless, he is paler than usual, his eyes are closed,and he is breathing slowly,"Oh my god,why?"I mumbled I start to sob on the floor,while Phil sat next to me comforting me,"its okay Katy,he is going to be fine."he said I looked at Dan one more time then at Phil,"can I have some alone time with Dan?"I ask wipping the tears away he nod and left,I went up to Dan side of his bed and sat on the chair,"hey Dan,I hope you can hear me. I'm sorry this had to happen to you,it should of been me. I do love you Dan,but you know how hard it is for me. I wish I shouldn't let you walk out of my door with a frown on your face,it's my fault that you are in this mess,you didn't do nothing wrong. I bet your life was better until you met me,I wish I never had met you in Starbucks. You were happier then, I know you you love me but I'm not perfect for you. I hope you understand that we can't be together,I will always visit you. I hope you wake up soon."I said I start to cry and I grab Dan's hand and hold it.
