Chapter twenty two

Two weeks later

Katy POV:
Me and Joshua tried to be friends but it hards,its like you are trying to be on a diet of something. Once you see it all the time you can't handle it,we kept our secret and we been just hanging out as friends. People think we should go back together,but I lie and say it doesn't feel right. But once we get home I feel free because me and Joshua are cuddling and kissing. I got a call saying that our house is ready,I texted Joshua and told him the news.

I sat on my bed looking at the house,it looks perfect. It shows the before and after;

I loved it,then I got a phone call..... It was Dan, I ignored it and went to the kitchen to get a drink,I heard my door knock. I went to open it and saw Dan,"hey can we talk?"he ask softly,"I don't know,are you going to pretend like we never did."I was so pissed that he and Phil kept a secret from me,"I'm so sorry Katy,I have reasons for lying to you." He said,"then why,tell me!" I demanded,"I was suppose to be healed,so I stayed there and Phil was there too,I told him to keep an eye on you. I just want my my angle safe."he said as he took my hand,"Dan, I can't believe you right now, I thought -" I was shut up by Dan on my lips,I push him away,"WHAT THE FUCK DAN,you know I have a boyfriend and you think kissing me will change my mind!!!" I said he looked at me with his chocolaty brown eyes,"I love you Katy,I did ever since we met remember?"

Flashback

I was working at Starbucks, it was my first day. I hope it goes well,I was counting the money that the manager told me until I heard a soft voice,"hello!"I heard and I saw a guy with brown hair and brown eyes,he looked cute to me,"hi!"I said,"you must be new here." He said,"yeah,how did you know?" I ask he just chuckled and smiled.

"Well I mostly now all the employees here,and you have a new face I never saw." He said,"also,you didn't come up to me or anything."he added I gave him a confused look and he turned around and hit himself in the face,I just giggled,"I'm Katy!"I said as I put my hand out,he looked at me,"I'm Dan!"he said as he shook my hand.

During my break we hung out and got to know each other more. After my shift we went out as friends,it was the most happiest day of my life.

Flashback over

"You were amazing,when I first met you." He told me,"Dan,you lied to me,when I was heart broken. And you think I'm going to change my mind,I ..... I..."I wanted to tell him that I don't love him, but it will break his heart,"I don't want this thing between us,we are not a thing and will never be."I said I start pushing him out of my apartment and slammed the door.

Dan POV:
I thought the girl I wanted for my whole life will finally come to me,I guess Katy isn't the one,"HEY!"I heard I looked to my right and saw Joshua,"listen here Dan,I'm not going to loose Katy. I love her with all my heart and I'm not going to loose." He said,"well guess what,I love Katy too. She been in my life longer than yours,at least I didn't cheat on her."I replied,"first that girl came up to me and kiss me,and second at least she has someone who will protect her and she can trust." After that he went in Katy's apartment.
