"there is nothing better than a friend, unless it is a friend with chocolate."

"Where are we going? Hermione why is everything always so odd with you, especially when Harry isn't around?" Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley were seated very quickly in front of her, Hermione dropping a bag of goodies quickly onto the study table.

"Harry'll be here in a few minutes. We're looking for ways to breathe underwater."

Evelyn quickly picked up the goodies and ripped the bag open, smelling freshly made cookies inside, oh, how the house elves were so gifted, she would never know. She inserted the chocolatey goodness into her mouth, stuffing her face and probably looking like a freak in front of Ron.

Ron just looked between her face and the cookies. "Well, are you going to share?"

Harry came soon after the cookies were devoured, giving everyone a short hello.

"Hi, Harry." Evelyn's voice was just as soft as it was in their first conversation, but more laced with a friendliness that he hadn't heard before.

Harry's face lit up at he sat down next to her, looking at the pile of books that had dwindled over just the two days he had gone without seeing her. Not that he hadn't looked for her. It was so odd, that he had missed such large eyes in the great hall before. Now, every time he walked into a room he found himself looking for her.

"Hello, Evelyn. I've missed you."

Evelyn's eyes bulged out of her head and she settled her book closer to her face. "You should come visit more often. Although I understand with the tournament. About that water thing, maybe you should talk to Neville? He knows multitudes of herbs and plants that might do something like that. You go talk to him and Ron and I'll stay and read."

"You're a genius, Evelyn!" Hermione had spoken a little too loudly for Madam Pince, getting shushed immediately.

Harry picked up the small book he had been reading and put it in his bag,"Thanks, Evelyn, you always help when we need it."

Ron's face sat bored and extremely confused on why he had been left here to read.

"Oh, don't worry, Ron. I've got some things I think you might enjoy." Evelyn had said Ron should stay specifically because she wanted to make a friendship with him. She brought her bag upon the table and opened it, pouring its contents out. Candies of many different shapes, sizes, and colors scattered in front of Ron.

"I do think I like you, Evelyn!"
