"Evelyn, what's your favorite place in Hogsmeade?" Hermione asked, all four of them had decided to each go to a different place of each of their choosing and Evelyn was the last to go. Hermione had already picked the bookstore so she decided that she'd like to go to Honeydukes, since she was surprised and mildly disappointed neither of the boys had chosen it.
Ron clapped her on that back,"Alright, right there choice, Waverly."
Evelyn grinned lightly and they all made their way to Honeydukes, the bell jingling when the door was opened. Evelyn was quickly taken aback by how many kids were in the store, not being able to walk far without bumping into someone.
A voice caught her off guard and she jumped while looking at the large section just dedicated to lollies. "You know, I prefer chocolate frogs." Harry proved that with the three in his hands.
Evelyn nodded and grabbed a few of the lollies from the stand, and smiled at Harry, leading him to the cashier. There, she quickly paid for her candy and stepped aside so Harry could pay for his.
Evelyn admired the way Harry counted his change to be exact, so the cashier wouldn't have to go through the trouble of giving him change back. "Harry, why do you do that?"
Harry looked up from his counting and said,"What?"
Evelyn giggled and pushed her large hair behind her ear,"Why do you always give exact change? It's sweet, but a little odd."
Harry shrugged and grabbed his chocolates from the counter, having payed the correct amount. "I guess because I never had anything of my own at the Dursley's, I take special care of the things that are mine, including my money."
Evelyn nodded and looked down, feeling bad for having asked, even though she couldn't have possibly known that was the reason. "You know, I've never had a chocolate frog."
Harry's eyes widened and his mouth formed an O shape,"What? Take one! They're delicious, and they come with special cards!"
Evelyn shook her head no quickly, but Harry refused to take no for an answer and shoved one into her hands. Evelyn, accepting defeat, opened it up and before it jumped away, took a bite from it, and exclaimed,"Wow! This is very good, actually."
Harry quirked an eyebrow,"Do you not trust my tastes, Ev?"
Evelyn shook her head no and continued to eat the frog. She grabbed the card from the packet and smiled, seeing her house's namesake, Rowena Ravenclaw. Sticking it into her jumper, she threw away the wrappings in the nearest garbage and made her way to Ron and Hermione, but not without smiling at Harry, and giving his hand a gentle squeeze.
As Evelyn walked away, Harry stayed behind a moment, frozen in his spot, with a bright blush spreading across his cheeks and a large grin making its way upon his face.
