Max and Furiosa decided it was a good idea to split up, she would take the war rig with Splendid, Toast, Cheedo, and Capable and Max would take the motorbike with Vyolet.
She held Ren close, a gift given to her by Imortan Joe although she despised him this gift was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for her.
The animal purred gently.
" what's this rodent called again Max ?"
" a cat ", he gruffed, "and it's not a rodent...it eats them"
" cat ", she repeated
He smiled loading up the bike
" Furiosa is going to met us at the green place...so we better get going our little friends",he looked over the horizon, " are gonna come get us".

" you talk a lot around me don't you "
He narrowed his eyes and mumbled something over at her

"Nothing "
She frowned and crused in a different language
" I understand you know "
" yes I'm well aware ", she rolled her eyes and Max started the engine

They rode day and night rarely stopping until they rode towards Furiosa.
But in a change of plans Max decided it was best to camp out
She started a fire and let her cat run around till it decided to come back.
They both stared longingly into the fire.
Watched has it lit the night sky with a red and purple fixation.
" what made you leave...you had everything at the Citadel"
"Isn't obvious why I left...I was not going to let any my children become animals...disgusting slinger", Vyolet hissed at the fact of talking about her former captor.
Max didn't talk he simply listened and nodded occasionally.
He couldn't comment on her problems those were own to figure out, but he to had problems that were beyond compare.
" get some sleep", he gestured, " I'll keep watch out...if anything you keep close."

Max's eyes grew heavy but he held the gun closer and kept a watch eye on the young wife.
It was quite the fire still crackled and Vyolet's softly breathing could be heard in the background.
Max then jerked his head his up footsteps were coming closer He put his sight through the sniper
His breath began quickening.
And there two eyes appeared through the lens and it meowed
He sighed in relief

He mumbled a cruse word but he couldn't help but smile at the sight of the
rodent crawling up to his side purring in satisfaction.

The beating sun rose and Vyolet awoke to Max loading up the bike.
Her vision blurred but she could see him stop and look over at the horizon
He looked anxious.

" Max !", she yelled
" We have to go Vyolet! Listen to me !", he loaded her on the bike and they went faster speeding across the sand with the army behind

Max and Vyolet were never caught luckily
They made towards Furiosa and the rest of the remaining wives
Were they never found the green place
It was an utter wasteland
Full of crows and death
But the hope never left the clan
And that was a good thing
Because she always kept close.
And Max taught her about rodents.
