About three minutes later, Spider-Man meets Director Fury in the briefing room. "Spider-Man, it's about time, we have a big issue and your team members are out on another mission so they can't help."
"What's the problem Fury? The streets have been quiet lately and nothing big has been reported"
"That's because the news doesn't know about this issue yet."
"What do you mean?"
"There's been a breakout at Ravencroft, we gathered as much as we could and have found out that seven villains escaped"
Freeze frame
"Okay if I wasn't at the SHIELD base as Spider-Man, and in front of Director Fury, I would be freaking out right now because this is really bad and I don't even know who all broke out yet.... Did I mention that this is really bad?"
Unfreeze frame
"Who are the seven?"
"Sandman, Doctor Octopus, the Lizard, Rhino, Vulture, Electro, and The Green Goblin"
Freeze frame
"Okay yep this is really, really bad!"
Unfreeze frame
"This is bad, do we have a location on any of them?"
"We've placed cameras in Dr. Connors lab both in the one above ground and in the sewers, Oscorp, Osborne's house, and Doctor Octopuses underwater lab. So far we haven't gotten anything but we think that they all may be working with each other and that they may be upgrading their weapons big time."
"So you are expecting me to go in, with no team members, and take out seven of the most dangerous villains in New York that may be working together and have advanced tech?! I mean, I'm honored that you think I'm that good Fury, but I don't think I'm good enough to take down all seven at once."
"That's the good part of all of this"
"What about this whole situation is good?"
"Meet your team members for this mission..... [door into the briefing room opens and the Avengers walk in]... The Avengers will be with you on this mission"

"Did you just hear that?!?! I get to work with the Avengers on this mission. THE Avengers!! Man I would so faint right now if I wasn't in front of the Avengers and Fury"
