Chapter 5 (Leaving)

-Day when Stephanie is leaving-

Stephanie's POV-

I wake up to Chloe, Mikayla, and Kyle all sleeping somewhere in my living room. Mikayla and Chloe both sleeping on the floor, and Kyle sleeping on the couch. "Wakeup guys!" I sort of yell, "It's almost time for me to leave!" They all wake up and jump up. "Ugh Steph do you really have to leave." Chloe said almost crying. "Yes, I do, i'm sorry but remember we can still facetime and text, all of us. I can still visit, it's just a  hour flight." I say trying to cheer them up. They were all quiet for a moment. "Well I have to leave in five hours so, what do you guys wanna do till then?" I ask. They are all still quiet, then I hear Kyle quietly crying.

I go up to Kyle and hug him, "Oh Kyle i'm sorry , I don't really want to leave you guys, but this is Stanford and i'm sure we can make it work. We can do long distance?" I said almost crying also. "Yeah, sure we can work long distance." Kyle said. I then see Chloe and Mikayla also crying too, so I go to them and hug them, "I'll never forget you guys and you won't ever forget me, Promise? Look, I-" I say then Mikayla cuts me off.

Mikayla's POV-

"Stephanie, shut up, can we not waste our time just talking and shit? Let's just do what we can while we're together, not trying to be mean, but I just can't do this, it makes me more sad." I say looking down at the floor. "Let's go get some ice cream or something man, this is honestly just too depressing. "Okay then let's go" Stephanie and Chloe say. Kyle just stays silent.

Chloe's POV-

-At the mall getting ice cream-

I check the time and realize its already ten o' clock, two hours from when it's time for Stephanie to leave. Wait, two hours before it's time for Stephanie to leave. "Crap!" I yell. Kids and adults around me all look at me and stare at me. "Whoops, sorry" I say. I grab Stephanie and Mikayla by their arms and start sprinting. "Common Kyle don't just sit there!" I say running "Stephanie's gonna be late for her flight!" I also scream. By now we were all running. Luckily all of Stephanie's stuff is all already packed in Kyle's car.

-10 Minutes in a car later-

We arrive at the airport surrounded by some people at school that we all know. "Hey Steph good luck at Stanford!" They say. "Thanks guys" Stephanie said with a smile. Stephanie goes to check in for her flight.  It takes her about 20 minutes to check in because of that long line though, so that's why we had to leave early. By the time she was done checking in, she had to go to her flight and go through security. We all walked where she would go through security and it's time for her to leave. I start crying and I also see Mikayla and Kyle crying. Stephanie stays silent. "Well, this is it, guys I'm going to miss you all and remember we're going to make this work Kyle. We are never going to forget each other and I won't ever forget how you all stayed with me throughout most of my life. I won't forget to facetime, call, and text all of you every day. I love you all" Stephanie said. We all get together into a group hug all almost sobbing.

Stephanie's POV-

We all hugged and they all said their goodbyes and good lucks, when I start walking to the security, Kyle grabs me by the arm and turns me around, and whispers "I'll miss you princess, I love you" then we kissed for what seemed like forever. After that, I went through security and I still had and hour of waiting until it was time for my flight to take off,  so I waited in the airport.

I'm walking around the airport and I dropped my phone and I didn't notice until a guy turned me around and said "Hey, you dropped your phone" I said, "Oh thanks." With a smile and I look into his eyes. He asked me, "What's your name?" I say, "Stephanie, what's yours?" He smiles and looks into my eyes, "Hayes, Hayes Grier."

A/N trying to update whenever I can. I'm lazy though, okay? Nobody really likes this book a lot though, whatever. I wrote this whole Chapter in about 30 minutes because I was bored, lmao ok hope you enjoy my book..
