Chapter 4 (Later on)

(1 year later, Stephanie is now 18 years old and she has applied to Stanford, California She is opening the letter from Stanford surrounded by her friends and Kyle [now her boyfriend for 9 months])

Stephanie's POV* (August 1, 2015)

"Open it Steph!" Kyle said smiling at me. I smiled and said "Okay, okay." I wanted to open it, but I couldn't seem to be able to, I was really nervous and scared.

"Common Steph don't be scared, you will for sure get in, just open it!" Mikayla said to me. I was happy they were here with me, and I was sad that if I got accepted that I will have to move all the way to Palo Alto. So I finally got enough courage to open the envelope, I eventually ripped it open.

I read it in my head and everyone is staring at me. I read it out loud, "Dear Ms. Brookes, It is my pleasure to inform you that you have been accepted into Stanford University of California. You will begin school on the first semester of August 17, 2015. The tuition is $46,320, but we are pleased to say that you will be attending on a 4 year scholarship. We all started screaming and jumping up and down.

"Oh my gosh Stephanie i'm so proud of you" Chloe squealed. Chloe, Mikayla, and Kyle all ran to me and hugged me. Kyle stopped jumping though, he looked down at the floor. I asked, "Kyle, what's wrong?" By now we were all looking at Kyle. Kyle, still looking down, said, "It's just that I'm really going to miss Steph."

"Oh yeah.." Mikayla and Chloe both say and both sigh at the same time. I swear those girls are connected some how, they both say everything at the same time. We're all looking down now in silence. "Well at least I will still be able to text you guys, there's still facetime and i'll still be able to visit you guys whenever I have a break." I said trying to cheer them up. "But it's not the same" Mikayla said. "Yeah, it's not like we can hug each other, go to the mall together over facetime" Chloe also said.

"But we don't want to hold you back from going to your dream school Stephanie, you've been waiting for this school ever since I knew you. We don't want to be the reason why you didn't get to go to Stanford. You should go and learn there and have fun, just never forget us." Kyle said. Of course I would never forget you guys I thought. "Guys don't ever forget me and I won't forget you guys" I said trying to laugh a little. "We won't we promise.." All three of them said.

"I'm leaving in sixteen days, and from now until I have to leave, we should all be together, is that okay?" I say. "Of course, we have to!" Chloe said. Mikayla and Kyle nod and smile. "Well it's late now and you guys should go home and rest because we're going to do a lot before I leave." I say "Okay Stephanie i'll see you tomorrow, love you!" Mikayla and Chloe say and leave.

I go to Kyle. It's just me and Kyle in the room now. "Kyle?" I say. Kyle is just staring at the floor with his hands in his pockets. "Kyle it's okay, we will talk everyday and facetime everyday." I say trying to cheer him up. "Mhm, that's fine.. it's just that im going to really miss you." Kyle said. "I will too." I say and I go hug him. "Bye Kyle, see you tomorrow." I say and hug him one more time.

- after everyone is gone-

I stare at the picture of all four of us, me, Mikayla, Chloe, and Kyle. *sigh* Im going to miss all three of you so much. *yawn* I gotta sleep now.

-Stephanie falls asleep on her bed-

A/N ; Hey guys, I decided to continue the book for now, and I know the past 3 Chapters weren't so good so I apologize and I hope the rest of the book will be better than the past 3 chapters.
