My father was still reading the mysterious letter while my head kept forming more and more questions. I just needed to know two things: What is in this letter??? and Does it have to do something with our house???. Suddenly I heard a bang and I was torn out of my thoughts and saw what/ who made that sound. My father had slammed the letter on the table.
He doesn't really look happy, well he actually looks very angry. "This stupid dealer!!" my dad shouted." What's wrong, dad?" I asked curiously." It's this dealer. He said that he'll renovate the house and he said it'll be ready when we arrive in Mississippi! Now he's saying he can't do that! So now we have to renovate the house!" my dad finished becoming angrier by every word. "Well, now we can stay here in California, can't we?" I asked hopefully. "You very well know that we are going to Mississippi 'cause your dad has got a really good job there, sweetie!" my mom said happily. I don't know why my parents want more money! We've got enough! We have everything we want! My mom wants a really modern kitchen in our new house! And we're going to have our own pool! I know it's all really awesome but I would rather stay here with my friends than go to Mississippi to such a modern house! Oh, wait and I'm going to get my own bathroom. But I still don't understand why my dad wants that new job. He already has a super job here!

I was eating my breakfast when Carly came in and gave my dad a strange looking envelope. My dad opened the letter and his expression changed immediately. Well, it had to be something really important. But I have this strange feeling that this letter has something to do with our house. Our new house. Suddenly my dad slammed the letter on the table.
"This stupid dealer!" he shouted. "What's wrong, dad" Carly asked. I knew Carly is curious. She always is. "It's this dealer. He said he'll renovate the house and he said it'll be ready when we arrive in Mississippi! Now he's saying he can't do that! So now we have to renovate the house!" my dad answered angrily. I can understand him. I would also be angry at the moment. But I'm not 'cause I don't really want to leave California! And I know Carly also doesn't want to leave. She's so sad nowadays. And I can't stand it to see her so sad. But I can't do anything. I tried to make her a bit happier but it didn't really work. "Well, now we can stay here, can't we?" Carly asked hopefully. You can hear that she really wants to stay here. But my mom answered: "You very well know that we are going to Mississippi 'cause your dad has got a really good job there, sweetie!" . I just don't understand why my dad wants that new job. He already has a good job here! But I am a bit happy that we are moving. 'Cause I'm going to have my own room and my own bathroom, just like Carly. But I know she would rather stay here with her friends than move to Mississippi and get a own bathroom!
"Does that mean you have to pay more for the house?" I asked. Actually, I know we have to pay more but I just wanted to ask something to brake the silence. "Yes, we have to pay a lot more now! But we'll make it! I promise that!" my dad said happily and proudly. I can't believe my parents are giving so much money just for that old, rotten house!

~After 2 months~

Today is my very last day in California. It's 5 am and I'm already awake, just like my whole family. Yesterday the pick up car came and picked up all our stuff. It's funny to see our big house so empty. I packed my bag and ran downstairs. Our plane takes of at 9:00 am. I actually am a bit excited. I'm really excited I can't really eat anything so I just take the last banana my dad bought yesterday. My brother is already ready. He is outside in the garden. I don't know what he's doing. I ran up to my room and said: "Bye. You were my favorite room in the whole house. You kept me safe at night and at day you keep my stuff safe. I thank you. Bye. " I know it's very stupid of me to talk to my room but I just need to say something. I went down to our garden and found my brother sitting on our garden bench. He didn't really look like he wanted to party. "Hey, what's wrong? Don't want to leave?" I asked carefully. But then he said something I didn't expect. "No, I'm just afraid of the flight to Mississippi." he said just like that, as if it's very normal to say you're afraid of the flight when you're leaving your home! "What?! I thought you're sad we're leaving!" I said aghast. "Haha! Fooled you! You really thought I was afraid of the flight?!" my brother asked laughing so hard he had to hold his tummy. "Ugh! You fooled me?! Seriously? This isn't really the moment to be fooling around!" I said laughing (I tried to be angry but it didn't work)  "I did it because of you. You were moody since you woke up!" my brother said 'dearly'. At the moment when my brother finished to explain why he fooled me our mother called us and said its time to get starting. I looked at my brother and he nodded at me.
It's the end of my life in California.
I don't know what's waiting for me in Mississippi but we'll soon know.
