A Girl's Guide To Middle School

Lockers

Lockers! Yes the part everyone's excited for, and the only reason they're there. Kiddin' So yeah I know everyone always wants to decorate your locker and make it "purrtty" but to be honest you're only gonna to go to your locker in the morning, before or after lunch, and at the end of the day.(unless you need to go to it more then needed) So don't go out and buy all these decorations because most of them are cheap quality and don't work well. It's not worth and your money so please don't do it! I mean yeah you definitely want to keep it organized and nice looking. Although it doesn't need to look like "Sharpae's" locker from High-school Musical!
Here are the things you need...
-Small Mirror
-Wall shelf
- Portable shelf (the ones that stand up)
-Sneakers
- Extra Clothes
-Pads or Tampons (for girls who've have "it")
- Gym clothes
-Emergency Pencils
-Makeup Wipes
- A warm coat
- Hair ties
- Reminder Post-Its
- Chapstick or Lip Balm
-Drug Store Makeup (if you lose you won't be upset)
-Hand Sanitizer
-Lotion
-Any thing else you need like medicine or contacts or even glasses

Times to go to your locker...
School Starts
-Put in your PM binder for PM classes
-Carry around your AM binder
-put your coat and backpack in(if you're allowed to carry your backpack I suggest it)
Before Lunchtime
-Put in your AM binder
-Take out PM binder
-Grab lunch or lunch money(before lunch obvi)
End of the Day
-Bring both binders home(if needed)
-take coat(if needed)
-take dirty gym clothes home
- take backpack (obvi)

And that's all you need to know. It's ok for 6th graders to decorate their lockers a lot but as you get older make it look mature and not so "pretty in pink". And make sure to actually use your locker because carry everything in your backpack isn't healthy for your back and spine!
