Liam's POV:

I watched as Crystal fell into the lake. I waited for her to resurface and slap me in the face, but she never resurfaced. After a few seconds, I had no choice left except to jump in. I jumped and felt the chilly water submerge me. It instantly woke me up and I was no longer drunk. I saw the outline of Crystal sinking a few feet in front of me. I kicked my legs furiously and tried to grab her. I lunged and missed; she was sinking fast now. Her face was now ghostly pale and she was emotionless. She still looked beautiful.

This time, I gave my legs an extra kick and encircled my arms around her. I kicked upward and swam with one arm. I was running out of breath and I had to get to the surface. Fast.

I gave all my might and broke through the water's surface. I inhaled a large breath and I felt my lungs return to normal. I looked over to Crystal and she was still unconscious. I swam over to the ground and laid Crystal down. Looks like I would have to give her mouth to mouth.

I leaned down to place my lips onto hers as I had done before she fell. As I was about to put my lips on hers, she sputtered and coughed up water right in my face.  Her beautiful hazel eyes fluttered opened for a second before closing again. So she wasn't dead.

I lifted her into my arms and walked to Leah's house. Wait it was her house too. She wasn't heavy and I stared at her. What had I done? I almost killed her for God's sake! I realized how the old side of me had come out. The side that I wanted to die. The side that caused me pain and misery for 4 years of my life. Everybody made fun of me and constantly bullied me. So I changed. So I became the Liam that everybody wanted to be. The Liam that wasn't me. It was only this girl that brought out the old Liam. And this big mistake I made.

I sighed and walked into the house. Everybody stared at me, and I didn't blame them, I was soaking wet & carrying an unconscious girl, for crying out loud!

Leah stumbled over to me and slurred, "Who's that girl babe?" Then she giggled, pointed at my wet clothes and said, "Why are you wet?"

"Because. Now go sit down" I said and she just stumbled off. I shook my head. She really pisses me off sometimes.

I took Crystal upstairs and laid her down on her bed. I pretty much knew her whole house, because I came over quite a lot to have fun with Leah. I left her a kiss on her forehead and made my way over to her mom and dad's room. I knocked on the door and her mom opened it. She was a pretty attractive woman.. Nice body..

"Um I think you guys should see this" I said and both of them hurried out of their room and followed me to Crystal's room. I explained everything to them honestly. Her mother gasped when I told her how she was drowning and I saved her.

Her step-father laughed, shook his head and said "Kids. I used to be like that"

Her mother had a pure look of concern on her face which contorted with anger when her husband said that.

"George this is no time for jokes. Call a doctor." She ordered her husband. I took a seat on Crystal's couch and put my hands on my head. This wasn't a small thing for me. She almost died! And if she did it would've been all my fault. My whole life would've been ruined. I can't go on like this. I just can't. The old side of Liam is coming out more and more and I think now, that the bad Liam needs to die. The bad Liam almost killed a girl.
